I agree with others, if you are eating healthy carbs, don't worry, unhealthy I carbs I would worry.

worry about carbs if your eating cookies, cake, white bread, ect.

If your eating fruits, veggies, whole grains then don't worry

I don't worry about carbs if they are healthy whole grains and veggies and beans. I still lost all the weight I needed to doing that. You need healthy carbs to give your brain energy! Processed carbs are unhealthy. They are the ONLY unhealthy carbs. All the rest are healthy and can be eaten and you can lose weight eating them! I never count carbs. I am never hungry. I just eat mostly veggies, beans, fruits and add the whole grains, brown rice and whole wheat bread on my plate last and don't make them the center of my meal very often.

Most of the carbs I get are from veggies, beans & fruits. I don't often add breads or pasta unless I'm eating a lot of greens that day just because I can feel it when I eat refined carbs.

Try eating more green veggies that don't have many carbs if you find that you're getting too much. You can eat a LOT of salad or steamed veggies without going over any recommended nutrients. I have cut my portions of other foods on my plate to make room for a huge salad. That way I feel like I've eaten a lot - because I have - and not overdo it.

Oh, help! I have been a veggie for a bit, but find that I am unable to stay within the guideline goals for carbohydrate intake some days. What are some things you do to help keep those down?
