I make these raw brownies all the time: triumphwellness.com/healthy-sugar-fr ee -cookies/ The brownies are sugar free, gluten free, non-dairy, raw (though I do sometimes use roasted mixed nuts instead of just walnuts), they're even kosher for Passover... and they're *still* so good that everyone asks for the recipe! :-)
The oatmeal cookies on that page are good, too, though I tend to use tahini instead of peanut butter
Here's another brownie recipe from the same site (I haven't tried this one, though): triumphwellness.com/pizza-pizza/ (And yes, it mentions pizza at the top, but scroll down!)
It's really easy to make a vegan chocolate cake--search for eggless chocolate cake, and you'll get a lot of hits. It's another that tends to get a lot of compliments, and it's as easy as opening a cake mix.
I've also heard of making chocolate mousse with avocado and cocoa. One of my daughters said she tried it at a friend's house. My other daughter and I said it sounded great. First daughter laughed and said you could tell we'd already been exposed to vegan cooking, or we would have said it sounded gross....
In the same vein, I love frozen banana blended with cocoa and whatever else I have lying around as a liquid (soy milk, coconut milk, maybe some juice).... Feels decadent, satisfying, and... healthy. Hmm. Think that's what I'm having for breakfast! :-)
Of course, these are all a little more complicated than just buying dark chocolate! LOL!
