I've gone gluten free and sugar free and that helps a lot.

I, personally, need to stay around 1,200 per day to lose weight. I find eating three 300 calorie meals, and three 100 calorie snacks, approximately, helps me. I also found that staying away from white bread, rice, and pasta, and not eating sugary foods (treats) helps me not feel hungry. If I'm past my calorie limit and am hungry, a hot broth, vegetable soup, or a piece of fruit helps.

try allocating a certain number of calories for each meal and snack and then plan meals that fit those calories. That is your minimum. Then that leaves you a lilttle wiggle room.

Hi everyone,

Maybe someone can help me out. I've been creeping toward the top end of the calorie range allotted me by spark people, which is fine, I did lose weight last week. But since I've added cardio - and only ten minutes a day(Coach Nicole's kickboxing video) to my workout routine, I am hungry and have been going over the the top end of the range.

Do you know of any vegan members who have made their nutrition/food tracker public. I want to see if I need to add more calories to my plan, change the food I'm eating or both. Or get an idea of what others are doing.

Thanks

Melanie
