I vote for mimic creme! I haven't used it much, as it can be hard to find but I think it's awesome. mimiccreme.com

I just tried soy milk creamer, It's kind of nutty...didn't mind it at all. I'm going to put vanilla almond milk in the next cup. That should make it sweet and sooooo yummy!

I am vegan, but have restrictions : no flour or sugar, low sodium, low fat. So many vegan products are loaded with these elements...I am looking for long term solutions that support this lifestyle. Dori

Yummo Paul, that coconut mint ice cream sounds delish...I may have to try that. I have used it in my coffee and don't care for the taste it gives my coffee though. I've been using just liquid coffeemate in flavors.

Ugh! I wish I could find a replacement that has a better "mouth feel".
I've tried Silk soy creamer and .... sorry don't care for it. Have not tried SO coconut yet....
... but... on a side note... around Christmas SO makes a mint chocolate coconut milk that is like heavenly! Stick some in the freezer in a container that has a lid and give it a bit of a shake every hour or so and it thickens and freezes like ice cream! Yea that's right...mint chocolate coconut "ice cream" !! Dang! High Five! emoticon

Mimic Cream is great (made from nuts) and is available thru Amazon if your store doesn't carry it! I now use cashew cream (blend pre-soaked and rinsed cashews with pure water to desired thickness) to make soups and pastas creamy. Delicious!

Almond milk (vanilla) and when I have vanilla soy milk on hand, I put a dash of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg into the coffee emoticon

In the refrigerated section of most grocery stores you can find vegan creamer.

You could use a little soy or coconut milk and then add in the flavor you like. I like a little cinnamon or hazelnut.

You can try cashew nut butter dillute in water.
Or do it yourself by soaking a handfull of cashew overnight and blend it before putting it in your coffee (no need of straining). Some people also do it with almonds, but you'lL have to strain it.

You can find some premade cream substitue made of soy (silk and SoNice are good).

Enjoy!

I am a few days into my new vegan way of eating and have been doing well. I usually drink my coffee black, but in the afternoon enjoy a treat with flavored coffee creamer. Can anyone suggest a vegan option for this.
thanks
