Yes - whey is the liquid that remains after curds are made in the
cheese-making process. A good protein source, but definitely NOT vegan!

I don't think that whey protein is vegan. It's from cow's milk.

If needed, I would use rice, hemp or pea protein.
But, in reality, there's no need to supplement. If you eat whole grains, legumes and YOUR PRECIOUS GREENS, you'll reach easily you'r goal .

I'm totally vegan, I eat approx 1500 cal /day and usally I'm beetween 75 to 98 g of protein per day, without any protein powder.

B-12 suppl are available in one week intake pills.

You don't have to worry about protein at all. Protein is in every veggie and grain. PCRM does not recommend any supplementation at all. Here is a link explaining why.

Be careful about tracking your protein. If low, add a B-12 pill once a day, or add a whey protein smoothie.
