emoticon Welcome, Lee! You have chosen a supportive team. That's funny you mention the fat pads on your feet going missing. When I lose weight, the first place I notice the fat going is the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet, and I've never had fat feet or hands!

I know that lots of time when we give advise, it is something people cannot do because of finances, or other medical problems, they've already tried it and it didn't work, or just because of a strong dislike of what we think is fantastic. That said, some things that come to mind that you might try to help your "bones" are gel pads in your shoes for walking, exercises in a pool and, as DESERTJULZ mentioned, the sitting workouts that SparkPeople has.

Best of luck to you on your weight loss journey. Remember, exercising without losing weight can bring peoples blood pressure and sugar levels down, as can losing weight without exercise. If they are both done TOGETHER.......

Hi Lee... sounds like you are surrounded by tons of love! That's great.

So excited about the 17 Day Diet. It has truly taught me new ways of eating and being healthy. Although I've not followed the daily cycles since I finished Cycle 2 at the start, I do tend to choose only foods from all three cycles. I incorporate the added carbs as I can and we are living a 17 DD Inspired life! Getting us to goal!

The little folks in my life call me "Granny Lee" or "Abuelita Lee"; kids come to me if they need help, want to do some work for pay, are mad at their family, and some just drop in! I don't get around well any more and it has little to do with age; more to do with unfortunate medical situations. I will say, however, that when you reach my age (70), you may also find that the natural, protective fat pads on the bottoms of the feet can atrophy! Owie! Owie! Owie!
Until I was in my mid 60's, though, I was fairly athletic; running, riding, all sorts of stuff.
Now I am sedentary, and have gained half of my body weight! Gotta get it off!!! emoticon
