ok i decided to turn it off. even if it had a vegan option, i wouldn't turn it back on unless they moved it to the side or something. i really don't like it disrupting my foods list. and yeah, when i'm entering my foods is not the time to get an idea for dinner and run to the grocery store.

It seems more much complicated. Having to change your shopping and cooking routine. For that reason I have never tried it.

On your Nutrition tracker, scroll down and select the button on the right which says "Change Nutrition Goals"

On the nutrition goals page, you can add/delete any of the nutrients you want to track. I track iron and B-12 for instance.

At the bottom of the goals page, unselect the box next to "I want to use SparkPeople's meal plans" and you will no longer have SP mealplans in your tracker.

You can now add your own food each day with a clean slate. =)

I don't use the meal planner but I have seen your question about it before.
The meal planner doesn't have a vegan plan. That is why it shows the eggs, dairy meals choices.

Wish I could help but in the 6 years I've been on spark I've never used the meal planing option...There's no way the tracker is going to tell me what I want to eat LOL....

And in the end you'll see.YOU WONT STOP ME!

Hey all you vegan sparkpeople...do you ever use the meal plan thingy on the food tracker? I always notice it when I go to add my foods. As a vegan I don't find it too helpful because it suggests a lot of egg/dairy foods. Is there any way to turn it off - is that what most of y'all do? I'm inclined to turn it off if possible because I like to see a list of only the foods I'VE eaten that day, not a bunch of foods I didn't eat but that the site thinks I should consider. I realize none of that stuff factors into my totals unless I check it off, but still, I like a clean list. On the other hand, maybe I should keep it because it does suggest some vegan options, and that could potentially be helpful occasionally...(I have trouble making decisions sometimes lol)

Thoughts?
