if they don't seem to hold together well (I'm not sure, I haven't tried those particular ones) add a flax egg substitute to the mix.1 tbsp ground flax (grind fresh) and 3 tbsp warm water. Mix together then refrigerate for about 15 mins to get the correct consistency. This turns into a sticky goo which helps hold things together but you cannot taste the flax in your recipes. I make them all of the time and people just rave about them. They have oats, (recipe calls for quick oats, I never have them in my pantry but if you whirl whole oats in a blender for a few seconds, you have quick oats!) carrots, rinsed black beans and spices. YUM
(I have some in my freezer and this post makes me want one for supper.)
