I love the Kickstart plan. The webcasts are short but informative and build on each other. In just a few minutes you learn so much and then you can apply it without it being overwhelming especially if you're changing your lifestyle.
I like the Kickstart program because it makes it clear what to eat and not to eat and why. Knowing why helps me to make the right choices because now I know what i'm looking for. Unfortunately, I have gained 4 lbs. since last week's weigh in but I am already feeling better and my energy level is up since i started the Kickstart Monday. So I am hoping that in another week I will start to see results in my weight as well.
The best thing about the 21-day kickstart program is that it is doctor-developed. Following it to the letter can be burdensome, but it is really a good outline for eating.
Dr. Neal Barnard, the developer, is also active in the fight against diabetes. He taught a free 8 week program in Santa Fe last year and was so enthusiastic about the PCRM vegan diet that we decided to do it. It's been almost a year. Can't wait to see my new A1c and cholesterol numbers.

I love the 21-Day Kickstart. I have done it a couple of times in the past and seen really good results! I found that if I drank an 8 oz. glass of warm water with the juice of a half a lemon every morning it helped with the cleansing effect and my hunger levels.
For anyone interested the Kickstart started today. It provides an email everyday with recipes and helps in the transition to a healthier diet. I think I will be trying some of the recipes as I need help reducing my meat consumption. I am finding my old ways die hard. More out of habit than anything else.
