I'm new in the past few months... doing well, but I've only lost about a third of the pregnancy weight I gained (daughter is 4 months old now).
I think my biggest challenge is just scheduling my day and getting into a routine. It's hard when she likes to take lots of short naps.... don't want to leave her alone on my bed for too long, since she might wake up, but I don't want to move her b/c she'll wake up! Lol!
I've been super-busy too... but still, we're moving toward those goals! :)
This spring I've been running a ton, often with DD in the stroller for that extra calorie burn. It's so fun to bring her along, even if it does limit my mileage.
How is everything with you?
-- If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run.
I am your absent team leader! Sorry I haven't been around much. As I'm sure you all understand, life got busy and something had to give. That something turned out to be SparkPeople! I have started tracking food & exercise again so I am back to checking in every day.
How is everyone doing? What kinds of challenges are keeping you from losing the baby weight...and more? I know for sure that it's hard as heck trying to lose weight when you're a mom trying to juggle twelve (thirteen?) different things at once. When you need a boost or a shoulder to lean on, I hope you'll come here to look for it!
