It's that time of year again. With lots of baking, holiday parties, comfort food, family recipes, and food related projects from the kids at school, how do you stay on track?
For me, I've acknowledged that I'm the worst in social situations where there is FREE food (can you tell I'm on a tight budget?). When I'm with lots of people having a good time, I eat without thinking because it's in front of me and I don't have to pay for it. However, this year I've been eating a healthy dinner before I go to parties and drinking a lot of water to feel full and satisfied. When I got to my party this weekend, the food actually didn't even look appealing which was a first for me, and I've been living this healthy lifestyle for a while.
