Thanks for sharing this. I used to dwell on numbers as well, and be upset that they weren't dropping. I began taking measurements, and ah, there were the results! Then my cholesterol dropped...yippee! And I finally had my aha moment when I realized that I was burning fat, shedding fat, eliminating fat, while building muscle to further that process. Now I'm not overly fixated with numbers, although I still enjoy hopping on the scale. :)

What do you do to measure your progress other than weighing yourself? We all know by now that the scale is only one way to see the results of your hard work. Here's a SparkPeople article about other ways...
