Gabby, you must be some kind of energy powerhouse. When I was pregnant it was hard to find the energy to make all the required trips to the bathroom, let alone clean! I don't know how I ever got anything done.
I've never checked out Flylady either, though I heard an interview on the radio with her last week. She has a really interesting story!
Anyway...rough morning here. Daddy was supposed to be watching Jacob but he fell asleep, and Jacob rolled down the stairs! He's fine, not injured at all, but I'm not sure who it scared more, me or him or his daddy. I wanted to kill Dave for falling asleep, but I think he was beating himself up over it well enough for me not to add to it. So now the gate is up at all times when Jacob is awake, and the cats are going to have to learn to jump.
I did get my WATP 3 mile done this morning during the morning nap, and hope to get my bootcamp workout done during the afternoon nap. Also need to get over to the Y to sign up for Move 2 Lose.
Did anyone watch the Bachelor last night, I only saw parts of it, but I am not surprised about the "event" I don't want to ruin it for anyone if they are waiting to see it.
Tonight is the biggest loser, I guess I watch it now out of habit. I love the show I do, but I'm just sort of over it in a way. Maybe part of it is they have back to back seasons, I'm not sure, maybe they need new trainers or to really change up things, I liked when they did 50 contestants from the 50 states.
I feel like an eating machine today... keep hopping along everyone
Morning everyone! I'm feeling pretty positive about today :) I did my workout last night, 6th day in a row, even though I said I was taking a day off. So I'm feeling pretty good about that! I am taking tomorrow off just because, and I'm really looking forward to a day with just me and my baby tomorrow.
I've never heard about Flylady...I'll be checking it out today during my downtime!

MJA-Glad you are doing so well getting organized the night before...I usually get most of my stuff ready but always feel like I'm scrambling in the morning anyway. I'm also glad that your husband's new schedule leaves you more time to workout :) Sorry you won't get to see as much of him though!
Gabby-You are a Supermom in my opinion! I never get any cleaning done, and I only have 1 LO. Way to go :) Be sure to take it easy when you need to though, our bodies are great at telling us when that is!

I just checked out Flylady. WOW. Thanks! That might seriously help me get my act together finally. I was just wondering last night how to take the me time I need to do THIS journey and simultaneously keep our family world together. (Or how much i'd have to tell the hubby to just suck it up if he wants a heathy wife it has to come first!)
Gabby-- full kudos. You are busy building toe nails and neurons and stuff.. Getting the floor cleaned and food in the children is hard work on top of that! And MJ- I am so envious of your night time organization. I am so morning deficient that my husband had taken on getting the kid to school because I just can't make it work. Her socks rarely match, but she gets there! lol.
I'm now at the point of choosing between Spark and Fly emails so I've been going with Spark ::grin::. The ideas are GREAT, however, and the 15 minutes have made my life much more manageable! I've even got my husband in on them (well, sometimes!).
Good luck with the kids- I have just the one and there are three adults in the house and she still takes over!

Woo Hoo on being organized, it makes for less chaos in the morning. Yesterday I tried to get my walk in but I was doing some serious cleaning and it took everything out of me. I started having braxton hicks and figured, that was my body's way of saying your done. But I am proud of what I got done, the kitchen I mopped the floor after some seriuos sweeping ( we keep our cat box and cat food on the ground and they aren't clean..lol) and vaccuumed the entire living/ dining room. Not to mention pick up so many toys, I still don't know how to keep in them in one place, its pretty hopeless when your 18 month old just drags it all out again. Then, I gave the kids rice after I got everything cleaned and they had a food fight with it...lol. I know its never good when you hear them laughing when eating.
So today, I will try to get my walk in right after work, when I have more energy.
MJA: do you follow flylady or anyone else do. I basically read the emails and shine my sink, but I can see how it helps with setting the timer for 15 minutes and cleaning.
Way to go with the organization! That's one of the things that I always say I should do but don't- I would love my husband's bag to be together, lunches made, and some downtime in the morning. Of course, with our housemate asleep at buttcrack o'clock when we are getting up (though not as early as your husband! wow!) spending too much awake time at home in the morning wouldn't work, so ah well.
I got in a workout last night before my friend came over and helped me write- I'm feeling confident and productive about my big project, yay!
Look at me, gettin' all organized and starting the Tuesday roll call on Monday night! And I've already gotten my lunch together for tomorrow. When we go upstairs I'm going to get my clothes and the kids clothes for tomorrow ready so I don't have to do it tomorrow. That's one of my big time stressors in the morning so I know doing it tonight is going to help start my day right. That's right, I'm making progress...slow but sure!!
