Whew, my initial post from July 20th of LAST YEAR still applies so I'm going to reply to bump it back up! Please, please, please do what you can to help me keep this team active! I truly believe that us moms have so much to give in the way of supporting each other!

Aaaaaw carbs... for my first trimester that is the only thing I could eat. I love carbs even though i know they are not the healthiest for me!
So my goals for the month of September:
- limit my carbs intake
- jog 2-3 times a week

little goals but if I can do this it is one more step closer!

I jsut started back on the low carb thing myself so maybe if we all kinda stick together or coach eachother along it could help. I hear ya though. I lost all this weight right after my son was born two months ago and now I am just staying at it. Its tough but maybe by joining here we can all have people to talk to and keep us motivated. Good luck ya all!!!!!!!!!

You do a great job keeping this team active. I have been kinda down and dumpy myself lately. Not losing any weight for over a month when Im doing everything i am supposed to do is taking a toll on me.

But today I decided to stop bumming and try to think more positive and maybe try to lower my carb intake since carbs hold on to water. I know when I had to limit my carb in take to 60 per meal when I had gestational diabetes i started losing weight while I was pregnant, gonna try that again.

I can't believe I am down over 70 pounds since last year!

I haven't been around much lately because I have been CRAZY busy getting up and running with BabyFace Picture Parties ( www.babyfacepictureparties.com ). So...I am posting this to ask for help from all of my fellow mommies who are trying to lose the baby weight...and more.

This team is very near and dear to my heart. When I found it, it was completely inactive so I poured my little heart and soul into bringing it back to life. I think I've done a pretty good job (if I do say so myself!) but now I need your help.

I know how hard it is to lose weight after having kids and I know all of you do too! What I am asking is that you please, please, PLEASE do everything you can to help me keep the team alive. I promise I will be around more once things settle down for me a bit. In the meantime, here are a couple of things all of you can do to make our team stronger and more effective which, in turn, makes all of US stronger and more effective:

- WELCOME NEW MEMBERS TO THE TEAM. You can set up your preferences to receive an e-mail from SP any time a new member joins our team. When you receive an e-mail, hop over to our new team membersí page and leave them a note welcoming them to SP and our team. Heck, maybe even give them a SP goodie! Who doesn't love a goodie!?!

- READ & COMMENT ON TEAM MEMBER BLOGS. It feels good when someone leaves a comment on your blog, whether it's to tell you that they know what you're going through, offer some support or motivation or just say "Hey, I really enjoyed reading this"! It's also a great way to get to know your fellow team members!

- ADD TEAM MEMBERS AS FRIENDS. The cool thing about this is that you can see their Friend Feed, which gives you even more opportunities to get to know them and support them! Plus, did you know that you can comment on stuff on their Feed? If you need to know how, just let me know and I'll send some step-by-step instructions! I love popping on to someone's SparkPage to congratulate them on something I read on their feed!

- POST A CHALLENGE. It doesn't have to be anything too complicated. Heck, just a quick post saying "I'm going to kick heinie in exercise minutes this week. Anyone think they can beat me???" is enough to get people moving!!

- POST A TEAM PICTURE. It can be anything you want (well, there are SOME limits - LOL!). Heck, I posted one of my new car!! Others can leave comments about your photo, which is really fun!

I KNOW there are a lot of other ways we can support each other so if you think of some more ways we can help to support each other, please reply to this post with your ideas & suggestions!

Before I send this, I have a question for all of you...

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW INCREDIBLE YOU ARE!?! You are a mommy! You created another human being! And that's just the beginning of your "incredibleness". I challenge each of you to look yourself in the mirror and say "I am incredible! I am awesome!" every single day. It may be hard to do the first time but it will get easier, I promise. And the best part is that if you say it often enough, you'll actually start to believe it! And you should. Because you are!
