Good job on your water! I need to improve in that area. I have noticed that I drink a lot more water if I take some with me in the car so I am making a point to do that every time I go somewhere. It's when I'm at home and can grab a Cherry Coke Zero instead of my water bottle that I struggle!

I took my little man on his first trip to the beach! I walked all the way there and back for about 10km in total! Unfortunately he didn't really appreciate the beach much the sand was covered in rocks and seaweed oh well maybe it will be nicer next time :D

Did my first full 1/2 hour workout in months! Granted it was just walking around the park pushing a stroller, but I really pushed myself to walk fast and got my heartrate up.

I hiked the 6 flights of stairs to the cafeteria instead of taking the elevator and got a salad and sub (which I did not finish eating) rather than the greasy, often fried hot lunch offered by the cafeteria today (today's meal was spaghetti).

That's three things I did: stairs, reduced portions, better choices. :)

ETA: I just took two laps around the block/building to just get out of the office. It felt great and I plan to do it daily. :)

I had a baby girl 2 months ago today and gained 45lbs with my pregnancy. I also have a 2 year old...and didn't lose all the baby weight before pregnancy #2. So I joined weight watchers 3 weeks ago and have lost 12 pounds! Lastly my big announcement is that as of today I am down 30lbs post baby in 2 months! I'm making a real effort to watch what I eat and do a little exercise everyday....and it's working! I've been on cloud nine all day today and had to share!

Today I'm proud that I went out for an hour long walk/run with my son in our new jogging stroller and burned over 550 calories!

I'm proud that I allowed myself to get ice cream, made sure it had NO HFCS, and only ate an actual serving of it--shared with DH (he loves his sweet treats) and then stuck it in the back of the freezer. Here lately I've been eating uncontrollably on the rare occasions we have sweets in the house. I've GOT to learn to control that!!!

I did 12 minutes on the stair master (not alot I know), that was after an hour on the elliptical. After that, I was able to resist buying junk food while doing my groceries. A big deal for me!

I completed my 5 mile Walk away the pounds video for the 2nd time! I didn't think I had the endurance to do 5 miles, so I always do 3, but I proved to myself that I can do it, and that felt great!

For the 2nd day in a row, I left the soda at home!

I am TOTALLY addicted to Cherry Coke Zero and have been bringing two of them to work with me and then drinking 1 or 2 more when I get home. I recently realized that when I'm drinking soda, I'm NOT drinking water so I decided to try leaving the soda at home, which forces me to drink water at work. Today is the 2nd day of doing it and it seems to be going pretty good so far!!

I took care of my children. I rocked my daughter to sleep in my arms, did a craft project with my 2 year old son. Then we ate lunch together and they napped while I worked out! I am proud to have a beautiful family, yet even more proud to accomplish things for me as well!

Lots of unpacking done today. My music box collection is completely unboxed and put in the curio cabinets. The game room and guest bedroom is as unpacked as it can be with stuff still needing to be shuffled to get to the library. I will soon have my book collection back. To top it off, my three-year-old son had a phenomenal day potty training. No accidents and he seems to know when he needs to go. I might even be ready to take him out in public without a pull up.

Did almost all of Jillian Michael's Boost your Metabolism DVD (turned my ankle during the very last set of the last exercise) and finished out with some Pilates (who doesn't love a workout where you can almost lay down and still get strong)

Goals: To increase healthy eating and exercise habits from 30% to at least 71%

Objectives:
Use Wii/Wii Fit for at least 30 min or walk at least 30 min 6 of 7 days per week for 30 days.

Track foods daily with 100% accuracy for at least 20 days

I managed to fit in almost an hour and a half of workouts throughout the day. Gotta love being able to hang out in workout gear all day and your kids not caring.

Went for a walk this morning with the boys around the neighborhood (1.5 miles), did my Wii EA Activ (major legwork today), and after I got the boys fed, bathed, and given last milk of the day went for run/walk for 26 minutes (about 2 miles). Feeling great today. Time to step it up and get rid of this baby belly.

Goals: To increase healthy eating and exercise habits from 30% to at least 71%

today I walked around the lake near my house with my sister almost a 4 mile walk feeling much better afterwords and I played with my three month old daughter all day. What a great dayemoticon

Woo hoo! Good job everyone. I'm proud I got a new pedometer today from walmart (super excited it was only $6) and set my goal mileage to walk today. Since I'm not supposed to be on my feet too much, I set it at 2.5 miles for today. I met that and then some! I'm sure my feet will yell at me tomorrow for it! I also followed my meal plan for today (3rd day in a row) and am feeling more energized.

I did good with my food today- bought sweet potatoes for complex carbs. Really yummy with my salad tonight!

I also worked out on the Wii fit today for 1 hour 15 minutes. Yoga, strength training, and high-impact step aerobics!!

This is Semi fitness related... I play Beach Volleyball every sunday, and my team is not doing so well... But today we played very well together, and though we only won 1 out of 6 games, we put up a good fight and the games were all really close!

But the thing I am proud of, is that in the one winning game, I got the winning point, and it was an awesome shot!

I've stuck with my sparkpeople eating plan for today and rested my foot per doctor's orders. I can't wait to get back to some hard core cardio! Oh, and I played outside with the boys in the sprinkler. Tough work when you have to carry a 19 pound baby everywhere with you because your grass is like blades of knives instead of nice soft grass.

I got on my treadmill even though I haven't had any sleep for two nights. I didn't have a very quality workout but I am proud that I got on it and did something rather than nothing at all!

I took all three kids to the gym and I did weight training on my lower body, abs and back. This was the first time I had lifted since before I got pregnant almost a year ago. AND all three boys were really good, and that makes me a proud mama!
