my financial situation

God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I would change the fact that people think that because I am 300# I am weak. It always surprises me when I walk w/ someone and they are amazed that I can keep up w/ them or if I am bringing in my groceries and they look w/ wide eyed amazement when I can carry 4 bags up 2 flights of stairs and return for the others . emoticon

Oh you meant about weight?? Sorry... emoticon

This is two-fold, that every thin person is healthy and every overweight or obese person is unhealthy.

Took the words right from my mouth PK2H2000.

and the perception that overweight people can't control their eating habits, and automatically think that our children are in trouble.

So many of the "television personalities" are going undercover as overweight individuals to gain a perspective on the public reaction to being overweight. Often times, they find that their reactions mirror that of the general public (regardless of their level of education). The one thing I would like to change is people's perspective about being overweight or obese. The abject anger, isolation, and depression that results from being overweight is more overbearing than the weight itself.

I know we are all working to change our weight and image of ourself. However, iff you could change one thing about people's perception, your perception of yourself, or your circumstances, what would you change?
