Agreed - the inconsistency of the Twins has been really disheartening.Way too many guys with averages hovering around the Mendoza line, too many defensive blunders (exhibit A - Willingham's assist on Pedroia's homer.) And Mauer striking out at double his normal rate doesn't exactly inspire confidence. The pitching has been just plain bad!
I haven't been following the Phillies too closely lately, but the Halladay injury is pretty devastating. Hoping all goes well for him and he gets back to form this year yet.
Looks like Ben Revere is picking it up a little, but still way below his usual level. And in regards to the Phillies other ex-Twin outfielder, Delmon Young - I'm sorry! He is the definition of inconsistency, though pretty exciting if and when he gets hot.
