Shell Ė Itís beautiful here today too. I just got back from my lunch walk. I needed it today. I was feeling kinda cranky but the walked help. That was quite a walk you took! Iím walking with my friend at work and sheís just getting started so Iím letting her set the pace. I donít want to burn her out.
Char Ė I think changing our exercising habits is good. In addition to keeping us motivated and from getting bored, our muscles need the change too. Iíve read that they get used to doing the same exercises and then they donít work as hard.
Silver Ė 88 is too warm for spring! I think itís supposed to be in the low 80ís here today. I hope we still have some cooler days because I donít want the hot summer to start too early! I like not having to turn on the air conditioner.
Barbara Ė Iíd be happy with even 55 as long as it was sunny out. Thatís awful that youíre still getting snow. Iíve had all of that I need until Christmas!
Iím in a blah kind of mood today. I think I really just donít want to be working today. The walk did help so maybe this afternoon will be better.
One day at a time, sometimes one meal at a time.
Walking outside would be wonderful. We'll be lucky to hit 55 today. Andit has snowed almost every day for the last week. I'd gladly trade weather with you!!
Tonite is Biggest Loser, so I'll hurry home to get dinner and my workout done before they start!!

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
Oh, I love to walk the local track when the weather is pretty. I'm so glad you found a good place to walk.
It's another pretty day here, although a little warm at 88...But I'll sure take it over the weather we were having for the longest time. I'm so ready for great camping / hiking weather!

It helps me to change my walking place. I go to the Y and walk the track and now they have an outside track and I walk on it when the weather permits. I think changing our exercising habits helps to keep the motivation going. I'm not big on exercise but it is the only way I can lose weight!

It's turning into a beautiful day today. I didn't feel like hitting the gym today so I decided to walk around the jogging track that circles the base parade grounds. It's 7/10s of a mile around and circles a beautiful grassy, tree lined area and is along the runway so you can watch the planes take off and land. I ended up walking 5 laps, 3.5 miles, in just over 50 minutes! I did some strength training while I was there also; wall push-ups against a tree and tricep dips on a bench. It was so peaceful I might need to walk (or jog) there a couple times a week!
