We went to Yellowstone (camping) oh my gosh it was packed. Didn't try cabins. I would recommend Grand Tetons lol. I live in Colorado. We don't normally do Rocky Mountain. But I have known people who have done both tent camping and cabins in Rocky and I guess it depends on what type of comforts you like.

Planning a trip out west this summer with my two children (12 and 15) and wondering about camping safety in the national parks. Looking at Yellowstone NP, Rocky Mountain NP, and wondering if it is more advisable to stay in the lodges/cabins.
