I kinda use Pandora but only to populate a favorites list on Spotify - my new favorite player... Spotify has its charms and its aggregations, but both Pandora and Spotify work on either the PC or on phone apps. However, Spotify kinda cripples their phone app, in their desperate desire to get me to pay for an annual subscription. So far, I haven't been that desperate!
So, in Spotify, my user account is MSDRPEPPER and I have quite a few playlists - including harvesting the songs from SparkPeople's various CD's that one can buy on iTunes (for any of the iOS devices including iPods, which you don't have and neither do I. My son has one of the iPods, oh, I take that back, I actually won a tiny little iPod Shuffle years ago from SparkPeole but it's been misplaced now for a few years. I need to sort through the clutter here and see if it fell in there. But I'd rather rebound...and I do also have iPhone. *sigh* A tarnation box all by itself, mutter mutter.). I also have playlists for "Rebounding Music" which is more or less the same types of rhythms one would want for a walking speed of roughly 120-150 bpm, and I think I have some other silly playlists, like one is songs with titles having to do with walking or running or jumping "walking on sunshine" or whatever, just silly songs with a walking or running beat.
So anyway. Maybe I should copy some of this into the team info...

And what I forgot to add is that SparkPeople has a lot of these articles where it's "Top 100 All Time Super Duper Best Favorite Most Energetic Walking or Running or Skipping Songs from the 50's 60s 70's 80's 90's and even some from somewhere with the 1900's to 2000's" etc etc - you know what I'm talking about. I think Coach Nicole has knocked out like 25-50 of these various blogs - Top Country Workout music, Top Christian Workout Music, Top Heavy Metal workout music, whatever... So... there are a LOT of them, but... a FEW of them I've actually been able to find the songs and create a playlist on Spotify where you can like it as a favorite and play it on your Spotify account (the basic one is free - they'd like for you to subscribe. (I'm too cheap for that, I just make do with free, or do without...). The caveat in all this is, if you listen to it on the phone app, they will automatically shuffle - you can't just look at list and say "Oooh I like THAT song" and click to play it to start...no. It won't do that. It will start shuffling, and if you listen long enough, that song will eventually get played. But, if you are on your PC and playing Spotify on your PC or Laptop, it appears to start playing the one you click on and then goes to the next one, or I think you can hit shuffle? I don't know. I have entirely more songs than what I need, because 15-20 minutes of rebounding is only 3-5 songs or maybe 6 or 7 just really depends on how long the songs are.
And so that's a thought. If you have Pandora and like it better, I also have similar playlists on Pandora (and a lot of "stations" that were started by accident and I need to cull them out.). But what happens with Pandora is that there is even less "control" as to which songs you will here. However, if I'm listening and they throw up one that I haven't heard before and I like the rhythm, I'll find out what it is, save it to favorites, and then go into Spotify and find that song or that artist, and then save it to whichever playlist I think it should go. Or playlistS plural.
Who knows... occasionally I play some oldies song that even my teenager sits up and notices and says "What's that song, Mom!!?" and then I don't feel like such a senile neanderthal. (he even asked me, "Mom, can you make a playlist of 'GOOD' disco music?" as IF !! . So that was funny. To me. Sorry....).
Okay enough yapping. I really need to rebound. I walked earlier but I've been sitting and I need to stretch legs again...
