I'm there with you - I moved my eliptical to sit right in front of hte TV so I get a "guilt trip" if I watch a movie and I haven't worked out that day. Makes it much easier to get through an hour on a workout machine! :)

All my "fat" clothes were getting too tight again. I think I finally got my calorie intake regulated again. I did lose a couple pounds last week. And I'm not riding my bike every day anymore. Mostly because I've been too busy, but I do get on it 3-4 times a week. My husband put more cushioning on the seat so it takes a long time before my butt starts getting sore. Keeping it in the living room helps. I watch TV, read or just listen to my Ipod and watch traffic go by.

The bike definately helps add a ton of miles! Nice work. Have you adjusted the calories you need to intake (to accountant for your lost weight)? I went through a period also where I started to gain, but didn't "see" it in the way my clothes were fitting, so I figured it was just the difference between muscle and fat...

WRITERMOMMY3 - We used a generic 13 minutes = 1 mile formula in the beginning to help log activity time versus a mileage.

I increased the resistance on the bike, so the milage has dropped a bit. I am continuing to track daily, and will get back to checking in every week, on Saturdays I think.
I think before we had also used a formula to turn total fitness minutes into miles, right? I can also keep track of that if I can remember how to figure it out. On the days I don't ride it is usually because I spent the day going crazy with the kids or the yard, so the fitness minutes are there, I just haven't added them.
So anyway, from the last post: 140,866.9 - 149 _________ 140,717.9 Miles left to get through MT
I will check in again soon to see if you come up with a challenge number for the month. I will put in as much as I can.

I walked 1421.1 miles in one year (4/2/08-4/2/09) so I guess we can figure on doing that many miles plus yours and maybe add another 10% to the total to come up with a target mileage. Would we be posting in a different place? I want to continue subtractig my miles here, too. I have to see this one to the end.

I got feedback from the other MT team: They are doing a similar challenge and the leader thinks it would be fun to join groups, but they have broken it down by monthly goals. I can do the math, I just need feedback to we want to do one year from June as out "desired end date"? That would be one year to finish the mileage? Let me know.
