hope everybody's holiday season's going along swimmingly so far. i haven't worked a day or seen my baby girl (Texas) or my crazy friends the past several weeks. My dad had to go to the hospital for cancer treatment but was so out of sorts and not eating that he had to get a trach tube and feeding tube put in Thanksgiving week, which delayed treatment two weeks. he's got 2 more weeks of treatment to go and (hopefully) that's the end of it, then he can gradually get back to his life and eat and breathe normally--and i can get back to mine.
Its been weird and i'm annoyed that i can't go to the gym and stuff, but i bought myself some new cookbooks to remind me to be smark and I'll be working on little ways to get fitness in while at home...when my research paper's done in the next couple of days. ugh...that's what's really sucking up my spare time now. At least i get to do a lot of learning about the british navy and how stretched it was during the american revolution--that's worth it right there. now i just gotta put this paper together (sigh).
Anyway, all the best to everybody and i'll try to get back on track and on this site more again. If anybody is interested in being a co-leader of this team at all and trying new things with the group, lemme know. I meant to say this sooner, but forgot how to do that. All the best and have a great holiday (when school finally lets out for you!)
