The Jets were foolish. The way they handled him was all wrong from Day 1. I felt bad for the Kid. I feel like Tebow has caught a raw deal all the way around. So what he's not a conventional quarterback ? So what he tends to pull through with a narrow victory ? Here's the bottom line: the Kid WINS GAMES !!
He listened to all of the critics, thought about it, and trained to change his throwing style ! He didn't give up. He adapted, and that's what good team players do.
Now..i hope he really lives by the 'team player' creed, and is willing to try a different position on the field. To me, that doesnt speak to his ability or inability to be an effective quarterback in the NFL. It speaks to the narrow-mindedness of front offices and coaches in the NFL.

Hey..this isn't THAT bad after all ! I even get a 'cheat day'. :-)

I hope he doesn't think he's there to compete with Brady!

Wow-what an interesting landing place for Tebow. I pray that he makes the best of this opportunity, and that he will do whatever the Patriots want him to do (play fullback).

Looks like Tebow has found a new home...

I agree that the Jets didn't handle Tebow well, and hopefully haven't killed his spirit, but at the same time, I wonder how much of this saga was created by the Jets vs the city of New York. They are ruthless fans! Although if you look to Sanchez as an example, maybe the Jets organization just can't nuture these inexperienced qb's.

I can relate. Much as I love my Niners, they didn't do right by Alex Smith. I wish him much success in Kansas City.

The Jets were just downright cruel to this young man and I hope that he is able to find a good football home and is able to enjoy playing the game he loves. He is a good role model for our youth. I wish him all the best. emoticon

Taking it one day at a time.

Our family was kind of hoping that the Bills would end up with Tebow. Kelly wanted him through the draft that year. . . so it must have been a good idea. Probably won't happen now with QB drafted this year. As a mom with a kid that grew up following and playing football daily, I hope Tebow ends up in a good fit and continues to set good examples for the young folks in this county.

I remember Sanchez at USC. With the right coaching and leadership he could have been really special. I hope he still has the chance with another team.

As the guys on PTI said today, the Jets have ruined both Sanchez and Tebow - Tebow is lucky to be rid of them, and the best thing for Sanchez would be to be let go as well. Tebow could probably go to a team and train under a top starter, but I think Sanchez is ruined for good.

I read this a little while ago. BEST NEWS I HEARD SO FAR TODAY!
Tebow was NOT a good fit with the NY Jets; & they made a mockery of HIM! I KNEW he was a goner when they canned that idiot Tony Sparano & his moronic "WILDCAT"!

ADIOS, Tim. You MAY BE MISSED (BUT NOT BY ME)!!!! emoticon
