I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO out of the loop, it seems I never hear about them UNTIL the Super Bowl. I think their ads are ALWAYS kind of sleazy, from what I remember about them! Pretty sad commentary that their ad execs feel the need to be DISGUSTING just to get business. emoticon

You may, unfortunately, be right about that! Perhaps we each should write, and get all our friends to write, and tell them we will never use their service because we found the commercial while families were watching to be so offensive that we can't do business with them. There is a forum on their website of people so disgusted with the commercial they are pulling their business.

You know what really p****s me off? The Go-Daddy ad was so offensive that it's the one people are talking about. And I have a disgusting feeling that Go-Daddy calculated exactly that way.

I LOVED the Clydesdale spot. It was so touching when the horse knew him at the end.
I also liked the VW Jamaican accent.

The Go Daddy spot was disgusting & I've seen all I want to see of the "talking baby" on E Trade. THAT got tired at least 4 yrs ago! TIME FOR A NEW IDEA, E TRADE!

No real "standouts" as in past years!

I loved the miracle stain commercial...actually, what I loved is the end after the lady washed the stain in Tide and said Go Ravens.

I also hated the Go Daddy commercial.

I agree that Go Daddy was the worst commercial - maybe in years - and a national poll has said the same thing. I loved the Budweiser Clydesdale, and those have almost always been good. I liked the farmer one, except that it had no relationship to the product - it was more of a nice message. I loved the Pistachio - Crack 'em Gangnam Style. I just about rolled off the couch laughing so hard!

I have a theory about the blackout. I think it happened because God didn't want to have to see the Go Daddy ad again.I had the misfortune to be eating when it ran -- UGH! Easily the worst ad. Let's see -- men have brains but no looks, women have looks but no brains. How to insult everybody in one sweep.

Best? For me it's a tie between the Budweiser ad with the horse finding his old trainer and the tribute to farmers.
