I love cardio, but I know in the past my body has responded best to a combination of lots and lots of cardio and some strength training. So after falling in love with Turbo Fire (I already lovved TJ) I got Chalene Extreme. I had Beachbody.com set me up with a schedule for the two, but I sometimes change the days if I want to do more cardio or add an ab workout into what I am doing so far. I just got CE, but so far the 1 1/2 weeks of TF have taken off 5 lbs and lots of inches (4 off my waist alone!)

I have both CLX and Turbo Fire. CLX is really light on cardio. I did not lose weight with the heavy lifting, I also found myself hungrier. I will go back to weights possibly when i hit my goal in 5-10 lbs... i am doing Turbo Fire now.... it is awesome and defiantly think it will get me where i want to be!!

If you don't have the Elite package- Cardio Party 2 and 3, Fat Blaster, 3T and Lower Body Jam, I would recommend that one! If you are looking for more toning, go for ChaLEAN Extreme...and if you are a pure cardio junkie then Turbo Fire is for you!

I would also rec. TurboFire, especially if you are a cardio junkie! The modifier is in every workout & I follow her depending on how I feel (most moves I do reg, but some I modify). I got ChaLean Extreme before TurboFire & it is the 1st strength workout I have been able to complete. The rotations, music & most importantly Chalene keep you motivated throughout the 90 days. I am currently doing a TF / CLX hybrid... Good luck!

YOU could get the Elite package. It includes Fat Blaster, CP2 and CP3, Lower Body Jam and 3T. I like 3T, you can use tubing or weights but I love the tubing.

Do you have Punch, Kick Jam?

I did TJ for three months. I got Turbo Fire for Christmas and I am now on week 4. My knees aren't the best either. I do watch Ally (the modifer) and do a lot of the moves that way. I do jump but find later that my knees are a bit sore. I love it though. I love the high energy and her positive attitude. I wish I found Chalene sooner.

Good luck with your decision.

I love turbo fire myself but there is definitely alot of jumping so if you have knee problems, it may not be right for you. I just started chalean extreme myself and I hate lifting weights but she makes it fun and I love the music!

I love Turbo Fire but there is a lot of jumping so it may be hard on your knees. The modification may work for you. Don't be intimidated...the more you do it, the easier the moves get!

Turbo fire is awesome! I started it Jan 3 and am loving it! I'm going to do a turbofire/chalean extreme hybrid when I am done. I highly recommend either one!

I've been doing the regular Turbo Jam workouts for about 6 weeks now and even with the added hand weights, I sweat, I bounce, high energy and I do get winded and drippy, but I feel like I'm recovering way too quick. Looking for something to ramp up the intensity of the cardio again (I am a junkie) but also needing some FUN Strength Training.

So, I'm saving my pennies, but don't know where the next good step to go would be: Turbo Jam Fat Blaster, Turbo Fire (looks really intimidating) or ChaLEAN Extreme.

One more thing - I do have some knee problems which don't seem to be too aggravated by Turbo Jam, Cardio Party, Turbo Sculpt or Turbo Abs (all of which I do every week, a couple of times each). So when I say I bounce, I do as much as I possibly can unless my knees are bothering me then I just go to low impact but keep the energy high.

Suggestions, comments anyone?
