I have the polar F4 and don't care about it being waterproof. I took it to a local jeweler. He replaced the battery in minutes and it cost me about $4.00

I'm wondering if anyone has done this and what the process was like for you? I've had my Polar 3 years I think, and I'm just now starting to get a low battery signal. I know that to maintain the integrity of the waterproof part of it, you are supposed to send it in to their customer service place to have the battery replaced. On the website it says to send BOTH the receiver & transmitter (I'm assuming that's the chest strap?) in for $75. I'm wondering if anyone has done this, or if you haven't, what have you done to change the battery? AND did you need to replace your chest strap?

HELP please!!

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Shoot for the Stars! But remember to be happy and proud when you get to the moon! You're still ahead of the game!
