I'm wondering if anyone has done this and what the process was like for you? I've had my Polar 3 years I think, and I'm just now starting to get a low battery signal. I know that to maintain the integrity of the waterproof part of it, you are supposed to send it in to their customer service place to have the battery replaced. On the website it says to send BOTH the receiver & transmitter (I'm assuming that's the chest strap?) in for $75. I'm wondering if anyone has done this, or if you haven't, what have you done to change the battery? AND did you need to replace your chest strap?
