my mother used to give us cod liver oil by the spoonful when we were kids - I actually loved the taste of it but what did I know then, lol. In school, we were given little tiny gel capsules of it to take - some of the kids used to squish them down the blackboards. I have to take a lot of supplements because although I eat a lot of the foods that contain the vitamins and minerals we need, I lose a lot of them because I have Crohn's Disease as well as the Heart conditions and Type II Diabetes..
