As someone has already mentioned, that is a lot of water! When I'm out walking, drinking every 10 min. seems excessive. I usually try to drink 10-12 oz when I've reached the halfway point.

Good point. The amount recommended seems like a lot, though it's under the heading of Athletes. Still, water intoxication is not a good thing for anybody either!

Good article, thanks. I don't know if I agree with drinking quite that much water. You could really deplete your electrolytes which can cause problems with your heart. Maybe, as the article says, make some of it a sports drink so the electrolytes are replaced.
