Behavioral techniques like these are of very limited value if they are not accompanied by a diet that limits stress on the body. Foods that stress the body and bring hormones out of whack are primarily grains, beans and sugars. After getting rid of all of these I suddenly had no trouble handling normal stresses any more because my hormones were balanced.
You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.
