I ended up being up all night then only got 1 1/2 hours of sleep when my daughter called to see if I could babysit her 6 yr old son. He was sick so the school wanted him to go home.

Did not sleep well last night. Today would have been my son Patrick's 42nd Birthday but he was shot and killed 2 years ago. I am having a very sad day. I miss him so much. I did get outside and walked 28 minutes which helped.

Got 8 hours but I have swollen glands in my throat so it was hard to sleep. The glands were closing my throat so I couldn't breath very well. It was a good thing I had my CPAP.

Even though I got 8 1/2 hours of uninterrupted sleep I still did not feel rested and am having a problem staying awake. It has been years since I slept through the night. Taking 5 mg of Melatonin and eating some chicken before bed seems to help me stay asleep.

kept getting woken up with leg cramps and today I am very weak and don't feel very well. If I try to lift something with my right hand my whole arm begins to shake and I have to set it down.

I kept waking up all night and had to get up early to go to the courthouse as I was to testify at the murder trial of my oldest son. Today was the 2 yr anniversary of his death. Spent all day at the courthouse and it was a total was of my time. I never got called to testify so, now have to go back to the courthouse tomorrow so hope I can sleep better.

Got 10 hours of sleep with only getting woken 1 time in between. Felt much more rested for a couple of hours but now starting to feel tired again. Plan to be in bed by 10 pm tonight. If I can stay awake until then I just might be able to sleep.

13 hrs of sound sleep, with only a few breaks. Heart surgeon said I'd have days like this. Feel rested, but, as the day progresses tiredness is peering around the corner. Oh well.

I slept so much better last night. I got 7 1/2 hours and only woke up once to go to the bathroom. I was not in pain so that helped. My left knee is much better. I have gout in my knees and it is very painful when it flares up. I still am unable to bend my knee but I am able to get around better. Having gout makes it hard to sleep so glad it is better. Hopefully I will be able to get a good night sleep from now on.

I didn't get to bed until 3:40 AM and slept until.10:25 AM without any interrupted sleep. I actually felt better. I Walked a lot yesterday. If I can actually go to bed earlier tonight I may get started getting sleep better.

Glad the melatonin is helping you! When you get more and more uninterrupted sleep you will feel better and better... I slept well last night probably because I did aerobic walking 5 miler for the first time...that is not going to be an everyday event maybe twice a week. No more leg cramps! Woke up at 530 thinking about coffee so got up and made a pot.

Hi lh1954! I used to take melatonin and found that I had to take it 1hour before bed so that I could fall asleep quickly..it did work! Now what helps me more is the aerobic walking program because it also helps my leg cramp issues

Since I have been doing the walk at home program I am no longer having calf cramps at night and I am sleeping more soundly...if I wake up I find I can fall back to sleep more easily...frankly I give the exercise walking program all the credit...I got the miracle mile walk at home pack with Leslie sansone whch includes the gel exercise band. The leg cramps were a problem for at least 10years until I began the walking program

I feel the same. Go to bed early and wake about 1:30 a.m. and feel I should get up. So I read until I am sleepy again and then it happens again at 3:30, etc. Sometimes I get up. I sure ruins it for the next day because I am fatigued all day. It has been a horrible rainy day today so between the arthritis and the fatigue I am about useless.

I hope I get a better sleep tonight as I have to get up really early as I have an appointment with my gastronologist.

I have been having problem with my sleep pattern. I keep getting my days and nights mixed up. The doctor prescribed Melatonin and I started taking it last night. I am hoping that I can get my sleeping straightened. I usually feel good if I get 8 hours of sleep as long as it is not broken and I sleep more during the night.

I feel I slept good I have a fair amount of energy today. I have restless leg syndrome and sometimes in the middle of the night it wakes me and I can't lay, walk, sit. I have to force my self to walk around until it settles down. Even though I take medication for this the odd time I have these night flare-ups. Certainly not fun.

I coudn't get to sleep because my feet were cramping...they do every night. I was awakened early with a Charlie Horse in my calf. Hep this happens all too frequently (like daily).

Did not sleep well at all. Was up and down every 2 hours. Finally got up at 5 a.m. Haven't been feeling that good all week end. All my "Itises" hit me every place.

I got 7 1/2 hours but it was broken rest. Went to bed at 3AM. I woke at 6 AM and 830AM. Got up at 10:30AM. I would love to get even 1 night were I slept straight through. I am hoping that following my weight loss plan will help me start sleeping better. My weight loss plan includes eating more vegetables and getting more exercise.
