So, I visit the Dr. who wrote Eat more, weigh less, Doctor Shintani here in Hawaii. He is a prevention doctor. I am proud. I eat a lot of vegetables and nuts but can't lose the 10 pounds or cut my LDL to acceptable. He says how many nuts are you eating? I say how many are in the box? He says, eat vegetarian and your LDL will drop. I told him I tried but I had pains in my tummy and still felt hungry. He says eat more and cut the nuts. and this good advice.CHEW YOU VEGGIES WELL. I wa so hungry I gulped and now I still eat a bit of chicken and no nuts for now, so I am hoping for a drop in both the scale and my LDL. I am the only one in my family who is not on Lipitor. Not that there's anything wrong with that. If you have any ideas for this "don;'t and can't be complete vegetarian let me know. I think I can do it. I want to do it. But I need some animal protein. just a bit or my low blood sugar is a problem. It's good to have a wellness doc though
