I have been a long time Diet Coke/Pepsi drinker but have been slowly changing o drinking more water. I find the diet drinks don't quench my thirst like water does but I haven't noticed any connection to hunger. I'll have to be more aware and see

I do not use any diet drinks because they leave an after taste in the back of my throat. I used to drink lots of fruit juices. Now I drink water with lemon in it. even when I go to a restaurant, i ask for water with lemon.
I have never been a diet soda drinker but, a regular pepsi drinker most of my life. Now, I have drank other things besides soda. But, I drink sodas most of the time and I am finding it hard to give up. I was thinking about going to diet. I bought a soda stream so I can make my own sodas. That way I still get the carbonation and can limit the bad things that go into it. I am also drinking more water than I used to.
I'm here for me and no one else but me. However, it will be everyone who will benefit from a better me. And, I love them the same.
I am not a soda drinker, every now and then I will have one. Today with my lunch I bought a lemon-lime type bottle of diet soda, I had a few sips with my lunch and & took the bottle back to the office with me. I started sipping the soda in the afternoon and by 2 pm I was very aware that I had this low grade continuous hunger. I don't know why but I felt the connection between the hunger and the soda. So I googled it and found out that yes people do feel hunger when drinking diet sodas. I had no idea and when I shared this with my co-workers their mouths dropped, they were just as surprised as I was. If you are a diet soda drinker you might want to pay attention next time you have one....it could be having the same affect on you.
