I agree Yelgab, If you are continuing to be symptomatic and not getting relief from nitro that repeat cath may have to happen sooner rather than waiting! It sounds like something could have changed so I recommend getting to the ER if need be! It's always better to be safe than sorry! Good luck and keep us posted! My symptoms were mainly shortness of breath and then chest pain in the days leading up to my emergent CABG (I have an anomalous right coronary that is compressed between my aorta and PA and is kinked resulting an an 80% occlusion). I'm only 40 and and ICU nurse and I'd had symptoms for weeks to months that I didn't recognize as cardiac. Bottom line is I'm damn lucky I'm still here to write about it! Please take care!

Yelgab - Sorry to hear this. After my first angioplasty with stent placement. I had some pain but it did ease. My second angioplasty with stent placement, has made me pain free.
I don't remember feeling short of breath after all either of the procedures!
Make sure you keep up with your doctors and most of all listen to yourself, if you need to go to the ER go. Don't push it off, that's how we get into more trouble and do more damage to ourselves. Make sure you doctor is attentive and if not get another one!!!
Wishing you the very best......
Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.
No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.
If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.
