Prague is one of my favorite cities in the world. Will you be going to Krakow in Poland. It is very nice too and Auschwitz is very near there too. It was very powerful. I am not doing Africa. I got a $200 ticket to Norway where I will visit several friends, then go to the Baltics (Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia) for about 18-20 days, back to Norway, back home for a few days and then road trip with my cousin out West for about three weeks, home for a minute, South Beach and four day Bahama cruise for a friend's birthday and back to work. Should be a fun summer!
Wow - Africa does sound awesome, but I have to say Georgia is one (if not the #1) of my favorite places I've been. You definitely need to at least try their wine, it's very different from what we have in the states and in Western Europe, but it's absolutely delicious! The food is delicious and healthy, so I'm sure you'll be ok while on the trip.
This year I'll be heading to Prague and Poland for a much needed vacation out of the States. I've also got some beach/domestic trips lined up, but I'm most excited for Prague and Poland. :)
I just need to figure out how I am going to pay for everything, haha. I have Spring Break coming up in a month and am trying to go to New Orleans and then a cruise to Mexico, Belize, and Honduras. I am still trying to make Africa happen but it is $$$$$$!

Hi! Your travel plans sound fabulous, especially the African part of your journey. I've always wanted to go to Africa. You'll get some wonderful pictures, I'm sure.
I'm off to Ireland next month with my family and then I have some work travels lined up after that: Iran in April and probably Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia in May/June. South Beach is what's been working for me, so I have no worries about sticking to it in Iran (can't drink there, don't like the bread), but it's Ireland (beeeeeer!) and the Caucasus (amazing food and wine everywhere!) I worry about. I'm hoping to have enough weight lost by then that my loss itself will be a big motivator. I should work on some other motivation and control tactics I can "export" to my work trips in the meantime...
Happy New Year and safe travels to you!!!!

How is everybody doing? I have been doing great. I am down 85 pounds in a year and a half. I am losing slowly and actually keeping weight off for the first time in my life. I am doing Paleo diet and trying to exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Any New Year's resolutions? I want to be under 300 pounds by my birthday on May 31. I went on a two week vacation to Miami, Caribben cruise (St. Martin, US Virgin Islands, and Bahamas), stayed in the Bahamas to visit family, and came home January 1. I am planning another cruise is March to Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Honduras. This summer, I am looking at a trip that goes from Capetown, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and ends in Zambia at Victoria Falls. Next winter break I want to do Buesos Aires and the beaches in Uruguay. Anyone else have any great travel plans? I was off diet and exercise for those two weeks but the new me seems to not have any problem getting back on track after a day or meal off. Hope everyone is having a fantastic 2013!
