Been there, done that. It does go away - it's basically the bruised muscle from where the injection / tubing went in.

Had angiogram 3 days ago and noticed tender lump just above catheter insertion site in groin. CalledDr. and he says this can happen and to ice it and use tylenol -he says it should improve within 48 hrs. Has anyone else experienced this after having angiogram?
