I am happy to report that I said NO to cake and ice cream at a birthday party yesterday. The scale fluctuates and my weigh-in this morning shows I am down 1.2 pounds from yesterday.

Thank you, Lee! Your plan for the upcoming week sounds good. Although my scale is headed in the right direction, I need to step things up in order to make the 6 pounds by the end of February goal.

Good morning, Cyndie, way to go on your .2 pound loss. Unfortunately I am up .2 of a pound this morning from last Saturday's weigh-in. It was a stress filled day yesterday and this week was recovering from last Saturday's accident so I am ready to "hit" it hard this coming week. I am heading in to the fitness center to use the elliptical and walk before yoga this morning.
And I need to just say No to birthday cake this afternoon.

Mindy, congrats on your weight loss! As for me, I'm down .2 this week. Hopefully I'll lose faster soon, so I can make this month's goal.

Good morning ladies!
I started the month off at 178.4 and this morning weighed in at 176.4! I am very pleased with the month of February thus far and I'm on track to meet the 6 pound goal for the month. I'm still struggling with getting more than 6 cups of water per day though. :-/ Hopefully I can work on that more diligently this week.
It sounds like everyone else is doing pretty well working towards their goals too. So happy to see that!!

I've started logging my food again also. Although some days it's just one more thing that I need to squeeze into my schedule, it does help keep me on track. Before I eat something I ask myself how it would look on my tracker and if I really want to see it there.

Cyndie, Way to go on staying within your calorie range and walking with the video. We CAN do this. I've printed out my plan for the day and I cut back on some calories that I usually put on top of my steel cut oatmeal breakfast.
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday to be on the safe side. I went ahead and taught my cycling and strength training class last night. And feel much better for it. 9 people came!

Lee, I'm sorry to hear that you were in an accident, but happy that you're okay, for the most part!
I did a 15 minute walking video today. I also managed to stay within my calorie range for the day, and already logged tomorrow's food.

I followed through with my plan for dinner last night, I made a baked rotini casserole with pumpkin and spinach and ricotta cheese. But the second helping I took did not help my calorie total for the day.
I did get 15 minutes of shoveling in yesterday but I came in when my back tightened up due to an accident I was in on Saturday morning. My truck stalled and would not start again in the downtown on my way to teach my yoga class and while i was waiting on the tow truck, someone hit my truck from behind, even though I had my emergency flashers on. I've used some yoga and massage over the weekend and my neck is feeling much better this morning.
I read this quote this morning on Spark Coach and wanted to share it with you for your weeK:
Today, visualize yourself looking at pictures of yourself at your goal weight--and loving the way you look in every one of them. Are your choices today paving the way to make this goal a reality?
No more second helpings for me as I think about reaching my 6 pound weight loss goal by the end of this month. I'm heading in early to use the elliptical before work. And I plan to teach my cycling and strength training class this evening.
Hope you have a good week.

Lee, like you, I need to re-visit things that worked for me in the past. For me, that will involve tracking my food and exercising for a minimum of 15 minutes a day.

I'm focusing on planning what I'm eating today, I'm going to track every bite today. I made the mistake last evening of not having a plan for dinner and stopping by the grocery store on the way home from work when I was hungry and tired.
(Note to self: I need a plan for dinners)
It hasn't been that long ago that I thought that each Friday night, I would eat baked fish and just rely on that as a Friday evening's plan. I am trying to re-visit this within my busy work schedule to help me succeed in losing 6 pounds in February.
What are you focusing on today so that you will be successful on the 28th in seeing yourself weighing 6 pounds less than you do today?
Thank you so much for joining in this challenge with me!!!

I am currently 285 !! Which is much better than I was when I started. I got down to 281.5, then fell off the "wagon of weight loss". I hardly even know how to eat right anymore. But, I'm ready for this !!
