Oh no - praying for your son. Three years ago my husband got his hand caught in a saw. They had to do a lot of work on him so I can really feel what you are going through.

I would also like to ask for prayer for our daughter. Some of you will remember she has leukemia. She started her chemo yesterday and is very ill. I would like to ask prayers for her comfort but more so for her salvation. She is constantly shoving God out of her life. I long for her physical healing but more important her spiritual healing. Thank you so much. I know we have our new prayer list Sunday but wanted to get this one out before then.

Any updates for me - please PM them to me.
Blessings,
Julie

Pray for my son, he got badly hurt at work today. He just got out of emergency surgery where he was taken by ambulance to Portland. He is at Emanuael hospital. He got his right hand in between a piece of firewood and the big commercial wood splitter he was operating. He has over 20 broken bones in his hand and wrist and massive soft tissue damage. The surgeon put all the big stuff back together and screwed and plated it, and tomorrow the hand surgeon goes to work on the small bones and the tendons and nerves. Pray for God's guidance on the surgeons hands while she is working on him.

Morning,

O.K. friends, I was wondering where some of you all were. Some of us have started posting on the new chat room, Christian Lounge. That will be the place for 2014.

Yes, Joanne, I think keeping each other accountable is a great idea!

Hope to see you all post on Christian Lounge.

Blessings,

Is anyone going to do "The Daniel Plan" by Rick Warrren?
I am starting it (6 week DVD and workbook) plus an on-going exercise class (twice per week) at my church.

4) Bruce--is not making good choices again.
5) my friend, Paula, whose pancreas is diseased from her diabetes and she is very sick.
Thank You for your prayers for Bonnie. The Lord took her home the week before Christmas. They are sad over not having her but rejoicing in knowing that she is no longer in pain.

1) Prayers of thanksgiving for all our answered prayers for the past year.
2) Continued prayer for Fran, Gary and Twyla's salvation as well as Brendan continuing in his spiritual growth.
3) Prayers that Brendan will do well as he continues with his new school schedule and that he will complete the required homework without having to prod or push him to do so.
4) Prayers that Brendan will cope well with the math teacher he will have, she is not a very warm and fuzzy teacher and sees him in a negative light.
5) Prayers that this teacher who is also responsible for the accommodations that are made to his schedule will allow him to make his own decisions when it comes to class assignments and that she will not dictate what assignments he is to work on as happened with his history project.
6) Prayers for Audrey, my niece, will continue to do well in college. Added prayers that her roommate who is a young Christian girl will share God's word with her and that Audrey will hear it, listen to it, and accept Christ into her life. In addition that God will help her to discern His will in her life in terms of careers and that her father will not interfered but encourage her in these decisions.
7) That God will lead a strong young Christian man into Gary's company and that this employee (whoever he may be) will be used by God to lead Gary to accept Christ as his Saviour.

Julie (Eternalminded)

2) Pray for my husband and his sons to completely reunite. Pray that they would call him on a regular basis.
3) Pray for all those who are sick now with things like the flu. I have personally known a lot of people right now who have had the flu – to the point of being hospitalized.
4) Pray for Adam and his ear. It is bothering him again. I am going to take him to see if his tube has come out and if he is getting an ear infection.

Laura (His Own)
1) Praise for my Dad's eye surgery - although only one eye done it has had some remarkable progress in vision
2) Praise for the support my Children's ministry is getting and for all the people who are interested in the programs
3) Pray for a client and elderly person who comes to our church. her family wants to hire me to sit with her and keep her company - I would do that for nothing but they want to pay me - pray for her DH who will be undergoing radiation treatment starting in January.
4) For our family as we go through Christmas - we have changed what we do with my Mom gone and actually that will allow us to visit the elderly couple above who have NO ONE - all their children are far away
5) For our Winter Bible Camp that is Feb 18-21 - it is our WINTER version of VBS
6) For the people who hurt more at this time of the year both physically and mentally

Good Saturday evening to all of you. It was an overcast but warmer day today and so some of the ice on the trees got to melt off. Other than that it was quiet.

Elsie praying that you don't get another storm tonight. Glad you got some of the tree limbs cleaned up. Congrats on not gaining weight during the holidays. It is not an easy thing to do. emoticon

Anjay, sorry to hear about your difficulties. emoticon I have never had Costochondritis but is sure sounds painful. Praying that our Heavenly Father will lay his healing hands upon you and that you will experience complete and total healing.

Ejarman, emoticon to the group. Although I have not been as present lately I can tell you that this is a very supportive and encouraging group. Glad you woke up in with a sense of excitement for the new day. Let us know, via PM to Julie, if you have any prayer requests. Enjoy your Christmas with your family. Come back here often and I know you will find the encouragement that is so needed in order to become healthier physically as well as spiritually.

emoticon Elaine. As I said to Ejarman you will find that we are very encouraging and supportive of each others struggles (in all areas not just with weight loss). This is a very safe place to come and vent when needed, praise God when you have praises to give etc. Come back often and let us know how you are doing and how we can help you.

Julie, once again thank you for doing the prayer list. I do not have a New Year's resolution either. However, I am repeating my pledge from 2013 (which was to lose 10 percent of my body weight meaning 26 pounds as well as increase my exercise). Although not totally successful in the weight loss area, I did lose 17 pounds this past year. That is the best I have done in a very long time. As well, up until December, I was exercising on a regular basis. So for 2014, I pledge to lose another 10% of my body weight (24 pounds) as well as getting back to exercising on a regular basis. In short I pledge to continue to lead a healthier lifestyle in 2014.

emoticon Superace. As I have mentioned before you will find that we are very supportive and encouraging of each others efforts to lead healthier lifestyles. Come here often as it is a very safe place to express how you are doing, how you are feeling etc. Congratulations on your weight loss to date. emoticon keep it up!

Linnie glad you had your family with you for Christmas. Making soup out of those leftovers sounds like a good idea. I made turkey soup with my leftover turkey and now have five made ahead meals. The good news, they are not processed meals but good healthy homemade meals. It sounds like Lillie enjoyed her walk on the beach. Dogs sure can provide a lot of joy and entertainment don't they?

Ali nice to read your post as well. You have also been missed. How about we keep each other accountable in terms of posting on a more regular basis?

Anyhow, must get going to bed.

Take care my friends and have a blessed night's rest,
emoticon Joanne

Oh, Anjay, I know just how painful Costochondritis can be. I have had it before. Take care of your self. I had to take plain aspirin for mine.

We sure had a nice day today as it got up into the low 60s. Yesterday my son came over and cut up the limbs and branches that the ice storm brought down. Today I hauled some of them out back to the burn pile. Lots of walking as I did it by hand since the mower trailer wasn't big enough to put them in. Some of the branches are over 7 feet long. At least they were light enough that I could drag them around back. Still have several piles to clean up but have plenty of time to do it in. One thing nice about being out in the boonies is that there aren't any "city" rules and/or regulations to deal with.

Another storm is due tonight.......UGH.....maybe it will hole off until after church in the morning.

Elsie

Well ladies I got mixed news just after Christmas, that sent me in a tissy, they have the results of the ultrasound and although good news in part, its not what I wanted to hear, I want my chest pain to be gone yesterday, so tired of it, I have Costochondritis, it is inflammation of the chestwall and membrane that goes between the ribs, it is severe, usually it is treated in part with nsaids (anti-inflammatories) but I am allergic to them so my option is to keep going the way I am going heat packs and rests, it can take 4-6months to heal, after that we are still not sure whether or not I will need the surgery it maybe the inflammation is causing the chestwall to separated from the sternum time will tell. I just didn't want pain, so have been down the last couple of days.

We're finally going to have Christmas this weekend when my daughter comes home with her family. I bought lots of fruit and told my husband he had to eat an apple or two "cuties" every day. Usually I just buy it and nobody eats it. He almost didn't pass his flight physical, so he's finally getting serious, as I needed to years ago. Maybe with him on board, I can stay the course this time.

Good morning everyone! I see several new names on here! Welcome! Just wanted to let you know something. Every Sunday night I post a list of prayer requests. People PM me and then I add it to the list. So, if you have something that you would like the group to pray for you about just PM me the requests and I will add it to the list. I ask that you PM me because I do not see every post on here. I might miss your requests. So, instead of putting a reminder on here tomorrow like I usually do - here is your reminder. Are there any additions or updates?

I do not have a New Year resolution but I have already started on eating healthier. About three years ago my husband was told that if he did not change his lifestyle (eating) he would have to have a new liver within five years. Well, he got serious and lost 58 pounds just by changing what he ate. That weight is back on him and he is going to be back in the same boat so he made the comment the other day that he wanted to get back on track again. So, that is what we are doing. Less red meat, less bread - more fruits and vegetables. He even made a comment the other day for me to stop buying chips. He can not have a bag of chips in the house without grazing - sitting in his chair watching TV while eating them. I can eat a handful of them at lunch with my sandwich and be done. He can not. So, we are going to make some drastic changes around here concerning food.

Blessings,
Julie

We had a great Christmas, I baked up a huge ham and all the kids were home. We have tons of leftovers, so I am thinking some bean soup would be tasty. It was so nice and sunny today,(albeit cold) we went to the beach. Hubby did some metal detecting while doggie Lily and I got in our walk on the beach. She was so funny, when she saw the sand she got all excited and laid down in it and rolled. It was up her nose, everywhere lol. City dog goes country, lol.

Our family had the opportunity to feed the homeless, poor and hungry a hot Christmas lunch - and we will go and do that again tomorrow. I had the opportunity to lead a man to place his faith in Christ today!

Thanks for the birthday wishes - I am happy to say other than getting up to encourage Linus down the stairs for Christina at 7:15 AM I rolled over till my cell phone rang at 8:50!! YAY

I felt like crap yesterday - not sure what was going on but absolutely beyond tired and achy was concerned I was getting sick even my stomach felt like ugly! Anyhow I babied myself, cooked dinner early and then took one of the prescription ibuprofen and proceeded to fall asleep while watching TV - got up and went to bed and took a half a muscle relaxer and this AM - I felt great - just think all the activities of the weekend. little sleep and the cold, rainy weather did me in!!

Or it could be the age - HA HA

Went out for coffee and my birthday treat from Panera bread - actually went into a store to add to a gift and picked Ross up from work he worked from 1:30 AM last night till 1 PM today - he is not going with Christina to her Mom's for a Christmas eve get together - he is tired - we have opted NOT to go as well but our plans were for church and then home again - I did not want to drive anywhere after church especially with at least a 30 minute drive I would end up arriving at 8 PM -

Saving ALL my birthday money for Ireland (Less a souvenir from the Ice skating championships in January - think I will get a sweatshirt or something) AND I just got a check from the elderly woman's daughter from our church - PHEW she wanted to make sure she paid me and thanked me profusely for all we are doing for her parents - I WOULD DO IT FOR FREE! And I do more than she pays for but that is who I am

Tomorrow we are having a BIG Christmas breakfast then will head over to visit the elderly couple and bring some food and snacks and a gift! It will be nice to sit by the fireplace too in the house!!!

WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

HUGS TO THE TEAM

Wishing all of you wonderful friends a very Merry and Blessed Christmas. I know I have not posted in quite some time however, I do read your posts and keep all of you in prayer.

I won't name everyone for fear of missing some of you but a special thank you at this time of year to Julie who is so faithful with posting the prayer list. Thank you also to our Lord and Saviour for all the answered prayers over the past year and I can testify to the fact that there have been many. Thanking Him that Laura's Red and White day went so well and that children are already being signed up for the winter Bible Camp. Thanking Him that Linnie will be celebrating her first Christmas in her new home. How exciting that will be. Born I will continue to uplift your children in prayer asking the Holy Spirit to guide your children and help them to find their way back not only to you as parents but to Him as the great I AM. Know that I feel your pain in your words but rest assured that God has a most definite plan for both of your children and He will work it out.

A great thank you to God that with the ice storm we have experienced (1 to 2 inches on trees) there have not, as of yet, been (to my knowledge) any deaths. A lot of inconvenience at the loss of power but no one was hurt. At this time, I would ask that we remember all the people who are still without power and will be celebrating Christmas in the dark, perhaps in more ways than one. Prayers for the emergency services (hydro, police, firefighters) that they will continue to have the strength to do this terribly difficult and time consuming job. Prayers of thanksgiving to all the volunteers who are at this very moment manning emergency and warming stations, for those who have no where to go (to get warm or a warm meal) and who have been without heat or hydro for over three days now. As I write there, over 7,000 people in Stouffville who are without power (the crews are still assessing damage) in total Hydro One estimates over 60,000 people are without power and will not have it restored before late tonight (earliest estimate) or late boxing day. Despite these inconveniences, I see the beauty of God's hand in this. People are reaching out to help each other, people who might otherwise have passed each other on the street and never spoken to each other. Families are rediscovering the joys of playing board games, cards together. The natural beauty of the ice on the tree limbs is cannot be explained and it reminds me of how God is the greatest artist there has ever been or ever will be. Anyhow, I will sign off, before we lose power again and I lose all of this.

My New Year's decision is to get back on here as I have truly missed each and everyone of you.

In the meantime, as I said, have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas,

emoticon to all of you,
Joanne emoticon emoticon emoticon

It was a great blessing. We also had people check out our Winter Bible Camp exhibit and they were registering their kids!!

My new profile photo was taken last week when we were at high tea. I turn 60 on Tuesday and I say not bad at all for 60, however, ask my hip how it feels!!!! Ha ha

Good evening. Just wanted to note changes on the prayer list. I cleaned it up a bit. If you have not updated in a very long time or let me know to keep it the same - then I removed the requests. Also, I only have the names of those who have actual prayer requests on there. It got too confusing trying to keep up with everyone.
Blessings and Merry Christmas!

Ali – (1Wife2Mom)
1) My ds is now on his 2nd round of antibiotics for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, please pray this will be the last.
2) My dh has had pneumonia, please pray that he is healed of this and that he will soon regain all his strength.

Elsie (Saint Bernard6)
1) Continued prayers for Valerie as she struggles with her algebra, she has learning disabilities and is carrying a very heavy load of classes.
2) Tony ..that Vocational Rehab will assist him as he begins a job
3) great granddaughter, Kira, that her eczema will get healed-----she is 2 years old and has to deal with the severe itching this disease causes.
4) Bruce--is not making good choices again. He will be adjusting to a new school and a new town.
5) my friend, Paula, whose pancreas is diseased from her diabetes and she is very sick.
6) Bonnie (Paula's mother in law) who is in the last stages of lung cancer

Joanne (SUNSHINE1954)
1) Prayers of praise for all our answered prayers including that Brendan will continue to use the tools and strategies he learned while following the Davis program, that the meeting that Fran and Gary had at Brendan's school went well and that plans have been put into place for the rest of the school year, that Brendan truly enjoyed the Improv sessions and that he wants to continue doing these.

1) Pray for our daughter who will begin chemo in January. The meds are not working on her leukemia.
2) Pray for my husband and his sons to completely reunite. Pray that they would call him on a regular basis.
3) Pray for a family who has suffered a tragic event. The husband killed the wife and then turned the gun on himself. He lived though. They have four children.
4) Pray for a lady that has been threatened for her very life – in the Wal-Mart parking lot. I over heard the husband/boyfriend threaten her but she was already gone before I could get a good look at her car license. I would have called the police. Pray for her safety and his repentance.

God has done an amazing thing here for even though there is ice everywhere and lots of trees are down the roads are absolutely clear..

I have trees down in both my front and back yards....they will stay that way until the ice is gone....

Elsie we got a little freezing rain here and 5 inches of snow. We are supposed to have snow removal but guess that doesn't include Sunday. I did it myself. Oh well exercise and talked with my neighbor in the adjoining duplex. It was ok. We didn't get as bad as they made it sound so we are lucky here because I know some people got lots more ice. Thankfully we didn't get as much.

I am having a hard time this Christmas and I am sure others may be too. I love Christmas but have seen so many who have killed the Christmas spirit that I just feel sad about it. They said on the K-Love station only 1 in 10 Americans will attend a Christmas eve service. What happened to what Christmas is really about? I will be one of those 1 in 10 people.

My children are making other plans and wont see them till after Christmas. I guess the change of their lives are here. I just wish I agreed to how they were living them. My son's girlfriend has an aunt that bashed my husband and I on facebook because we told our son he needed to get up and take his girlfriend to work because she couldn't figure out how to make his 4 wheel drive pickup work. Her aunt called us bossy and stuffbutts. Wow, all my husband texted her was how to try and to use the four wheel drive and then said get our son up and have him take her. This lady doesn't even know us and she was so disrespectful to us. My reply was in the spirit of Christmas, I am thankful I have taught my son to respect his young lady and take care of her. I thanked him for getting her to work. I could have been rude back. I did let my son know that she was rude and that we did not appreciate being made out to be bossy. Our kids have learned to use us for what they want but they sure aren't willing to defend us to others. Wow, I am giving up on being a parent. Maybe they need to just figure out the messes they have on their own because apparently our advice is not wanted. Funny how they call us when they need something though but cant bother with us any other time.
Tell me this is a phase of young adulthood and it gets better.

Well despite that, I will celebrate Jesus' birth. I am thankful to be a Christian in progress always learning. I am thankful I have a savior to turn to each day for guidance. I am thankful for those who love with better words.

I wish you each a Merry Christmas and safe travels over the holidays. May you be blessed by the true spirit of Christmas.

I'm praying for all of you who ended up with violent storms and ice this past 24 hours. Here in the Atlanta area, we got lots and lots of rain, no ice or snow. Very gray dreary day. Not at all what you would look for in late Dec. and just before Christmas.

I have been busy, but update on Dad, not cancer, some kind of fatty tissue, but they will remove part of it so it does not block his colon. He was in a care home for three days, and Mom snatched him out and took him home. She does not want to spend the money to keep him there. Some of my brothers and sisters are starting to realize that there is a huge problem there. Hopefully we can step in and take over Dad's care.

Time for me to check in.
Busy time of the year for most of us - I am all finished my shopping - other than for Christmas dinner.
Mind you we don't focus on presents - we focus on God's gift to us - our Savior - and what we are going to give to Him. Was always interesting when the children were small as to what they would want to 'give' to Christ - now that they are grown there thoughts have really turned. Now we hear ' This year I am going to spend more time daily with God first thing in the morning' or "This year I am going to volunteer at the Seniors Center in honor of my love for God.' So nice to here those types of 'gifts'

I am making progress with my weight. Having been told that I am now a diabetic (told this 4 weeks ago) I have gotten serious about the changes that need to be made. Have started walking and am daily improving my food intake. Have brought my glucose numbers down and also my weight.

Also this year I am going to honor Christ's birth by staying focus on my healthy eating plan - I will honor him by not overeating / staying away from processed foods even on Christmas day / and coming through this time of the year with a loss in weight

Have a blessed day everyone

Morning Friends,

Another hectic week. Monday, my dd had a shopping trip with friends for a family our church is helping for Christmas, my ds had a major examine, and I just tried to play catch up. Tuesday my ds went back to the doctor, well another round of antibiotics for the rocky mountain spotted fever. We did not want to hear this, but suspected this to be the case. We are blessed in that our doctor only gives these out when absolutely necessary and gives herbs and vitamins to support these. My dd and I worked at the Operation Christmas Child warehouse on Tuesday, while my dh took my ds to the doctor. We worked for about 7 hours or so. We did not get home to midnight. I am so exhausted. Yesterday was a family day and we went to see some lights and dinner together. Great restful day. Today is a catch up day since we have friends coming to town tomorrow for the day.

I think I just need a few days at home with nothing to do.

Hope everyone is doing great. Laura, it was great to see your post. Julie, I do have some changes to the prayer request that I will send.

Blessings,
Ali emoticon emoticon

HI ALL

YES we are all so busy at this time of the year.

A client and lovely elderly woman at church hired me before Thanksgiving to declutter a couple of rooms to help get ready for her children coming for a visit. her children are all grown up over 35 but live all over the world

Brought in food for them as well because I sensed the woman was tired and kind of got a feeling the husband was sick - he is and will have radiation beginning in January

One of the daughters called me long distance to tell me what a blessing I was to her parents and could she hire me to be around the house for one day about 4 hours and I said I would do that without pay BUT she said PLEASE allow me to pay you because you bring my parents joy, food, company and really have a finger on their health and I could use that so i said YES

Starting after Christmas I will be getting paid BUT I love being with her parents - like having a set of grandparents (at my age 60) today I shoveled them out from the snow and brought the woman to my house for a formal tea in my dining room I thought she would have fun - SHE LOVED IT

Busy with my Dad's eye surgeries and appointments - one eye cannot be fixed but he is getting improved vision on the one they operated on

Went away for our 37th anniversary for 3 nights - DIVINE! We were well rested till we got the snow and rain and ice and then snow again

Busy weekend at church with the Red and White Christmas Event - lots of publicity for this one so we are praying we get at least 40 kids!!!

No one has sent me any updates so there will be no new prayer list posted this evening. I will try to catch up on posts later in the week. Tomorrow is our last day of co-op until the 28th of January. I will be busy all day tomorrow until after 8:00!
Blessings and have a wonderful week!

Morning,

Sas, so sorry. Praying for your family. I understand the raining. Just remember "God is in control."

We have had such a busy week, that I am so ready for a break. We had my dd play Monday night, AHG Christmas party Tuesday, helped my fil and had him to dinner Wednesday, French Club on Thurday, Shopping with family and Board meeting / dinner here Friday and today I do not want to leave the house! We have a wedding though 3 hours away though. Today will be a long day! Trying to take the time to enjoy all of this.

Here is my 5 minutes of wining as I am an emotional eater. We moved my father in law last week from the house he has lived in since my dh and I got married, we put my grandmothers house up for sale last week and also found out the guys that lived next store to my grandmother had moved. We all loved them and thought of them as family. Just not enjoying all the change.

Life will be a bit slower this week so I will make time to exercise!

I read over the post and I am praying for you all. I am going to try to start posting a little more often. Missing many of you, hope everyone is doing great!

Blessings,
Ali emoticon emoticon

Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing it all for love.

Thanks for the prayers all. The doctors biopsied Dad's colon and the results will be back the first of next week. Mom will not have chemo or radiation for him. Dad is 88 and has demential so badly. His doctor told her it will not make his life or memory better, it will make it worse. So, they will probably remove enough of it so that he can have a normal bowel movement, and they will be sending him home tomorrow. It never rains, just pours.

I plan to start "The Daniel Plan" at the New Year. I wonder if anyone else is going to start it. Maybe we could make that a "thread" and chat about it - our triumphs, our challenges, support and tips?

Sas lifting you all up in these difficult moments. Praying that God blesses each of you with good memories of her to celebrate her life.
We also all pray for your dad that the doctors will have wisdom to help him in this time. We pray for you and all who help take care of him to have strength and the comfort of God's grace.

I know many of you are struggling with the season and my prayers are with each who are. This year is particularly hard for me too and the first time I probably wont see my kids on Christmas day. It really is hard given all we have been through this last year to not have them here. All the change has been so difficult and I find myself in a place of having to understand that God is trying to strengthen me somehow through these changes. I am thankful that I have a loving God to constantly turn to and that some how I know He will show me the way I need to go through these changes to reach a better place.

I am thankful for my Spark friends and that we can lift each other up through the many trials we all face.

Anjay I pray that you can find some answers that will be safe and bring you some relief.

Elsie are you getting the bad weather. Its kind of just skimming over us again. Although I am glad because the ice stuff is not fun. It was a little slick going to work today but it warmed enough to keep the streets ok when going home. I do pray it wont be bad when my DH goes to work tonight.

Its been quiet on here. I hope all our friends are just busy having fun with the season. Now that the kids are grown and right now in their own thing, I don't have much to do like I used to. I kind of miss the fun times of making cookies and decorating the tree. I sold my tree when we moved and haven't got another one yet. Not sure what I will do. I hope to just get a small one for this year. Need something up.

Praying you all are doing well and that you are staying safe in the cold and for some wintery weather.

My mother in law passed away at 2 am on the morning of the 10th. She lived her life the way she wanted, and she was healthy and active up to the bitter end. Matt and his sister were there with her when she died so she was not alone. She was cremated today and we will have a service for her this summer when everybody can get together. My dad is in the hospital now. He has a blockage in his colon, they could not get the scope past it, they did three biopsies today to see if it is malignant. Dad is 88 and has dementia so bad, no long term memory at all. Good news. My son was back in court today and the court upheld his custody. He retains custody at this time. the judge slapped the mom down big time, so that is a praise item.

The One who is the True Light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
He came into the very world He created, but the world didn't recognize Him. He came to His own people, and even they rejected Him. But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God. - John 1:9-12

Jesus is...
the Light of Christmas,
the Joy of our hearts,
the Hope of our world.
