Mini Goal: 300 by November 1st.
Just watched this video. No wonder I do better when I prepare my own food. Restaurants are evil. A lot of the time in restaurants, I noticed, that the things you would think are better for you are actually worse. How a salad can have more calories and fat than a steak is crazy. I always tried to research if I was going to go out to eat but now who knows if that info is even right.
Looks like I'll be eating at home way more often. At least I'll know what I'm getting.

Sometimes when I see people posting about not losing any weight, I often wonder if something like this is the reason.
I've always been suspicious of restaurant food/ prepackaged food. That's why I stay away from that stuff most of the time.

I'm reading "The Diabetic Diet" by Richard Bernstein MD since I have Insulin Resistance, which he says ALL obese people have and I've learned so much. He has lectures on YouTube that are worth watching. He's had Type 1 diabetes since age 12 and he is 78 now.
I read about this the other day and finally got around to watching the video today. I thought all my Donies needed to see it!
