We have a similar issue, with the Kona Ice truck coming by every other day or so in the summer. Whenever the weather is good, we can count on seeing them.. Nicholas wants to get ice cream sandwiches or bars, but they are as expensive as a whole box from the store! So I prefer him to get the actual Kona ice - a kiddie size, and just enjoy that. But I am kind of sick of blowing $2 or $4 (for 2) of the smallest one of those every day or two. However, it is over 90 degrees again, so right now I'm eagerly anticipating the Kona Ice truck!
I don't know.. just try to get enough fruits and veggies, lean protein, and healthy grains in your diet. If you are eating extra calories, do another half hour of exercise if you're concerned. The only problem I really have is that when I do eat high sugar, it makes me crave more and it's hard to resist those cravings!
You are worth having a healthy body!
This is a lifestyle change to be healthy, not a diet and not a sprint to get there.. one day at a time, one pound at a time.. as long as it takes, starting again as often as possible.

Personally, I try to limit myself "treats" and just not have them everyday. I form a habit if I do that too often and then lose my resolve to get the healthier versions and soon, I stop caring what I am eating.
My advice is, limit yourself to once or twice a week (if that). This season also aids you in being surrounded by a ton of fresh fruits and veggies and amazing foods that are good for you also! Try to find a love for those and "indulge" in some fresh strawberries, cherries, watermelon, and more! And if you really want a "sweet treat" maybe get a box of Edy's Real Fruit bars. They are only 80 calories and loaded with good vitamins, etc. Or even Skinny Cow or other types of low-calories treats that can nip your craving before you indulge in something you don't want or will feel bad for later...
Don't feel bad about it. We all do it. Just find better options and enjoy your summer! XO
How often does this happen? If it is once a week or so - no big deal...everyday and yeah - you are starting a habit... When my family goes out to eat, sometimes I indulge - and sometimes I don't, depending on how many other challenges I have had that week to keeping in my range. Without the occasional treat you can feel deprived...too many treats and you slow your losing down so much you'll get depressed.Everyone is different...

Now that it's summer time I find myself surrounded by delicious ice cream and italian ice stands. And the hot weather and delicious sweets they offer make it darn near impossible for me to resist a quick bite. I am not going over my calorie limits or anything but am coming up on the high end when I choose to indulge, which has become a more frequent occurrence. When I do eat them I either get sugar free or fat free options but the empty calories still add up. I don't know if I should try to nip this habit right in the bud or if it's ok for me to indulge within my limits only for summer time. I'm not stressing about it but want to make sure it won't lead to any bad eating habits later on. What do you guys think?
You sort of start thinking anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.
