I was off SP for nearly a year because of financial reasons and gained my weight back
If you feel down or not so motivated, SP and their members help lift your spirits just by reading some of the motivator's pages, also I am a biggest loser fan as well as a club member and it keeps me motivated as well seeing all these big people and being really obese like I am being able to do it.
I have a fake hip and have used it for a crutch for many many years! and finally my husband threatened to leave me if I didn't do this for myself because of recent health issues...
My husband loves me the way I am because he sees who is inside of me.

I have lost 22lbs for may after coming back to SP, If I can do it, ANYONE CAN!

Keep up the hard work and dedication, and remember to not do this for someone else or it will fail. Do it for you and only you, so you feel better, look better in your eyes, and if you have kids do it for them as well so you can keep up with them thru out the day and be able to play with them more!

Good for you for realizing you've been slacking and for recommitting yourself! That's awesome! I am making June my sweatiest month ever.. I decided just last night that I am going to strive to sweat and push myself more than I ever have and see where it gets me. ALSO, I am not going to get on the scale until I have to weigh for my challenge (June 20th), so.. by the time I get on the scale, I hope I have lost 5 pounds! YAY!
Really it's a "magical" thing. So many people know what it takes to lose weight and be healthy, but DOING it is the hard part. I think you're awesome for getting back to it when you could just choose to stay in your rut. You rock! WOO HOO!! :) XOXO Good luck! I know you can do this!
I feel the same way today is the first day of really starting the sp way of life. I checked my weight today & it was down which makes me really happy because before I went to bed I was really felling down & depressed.
So I feel like I spent the first 5 months of 2012 wasting my time. Not fully committed, and therefore making no progress. I was resting on my laurels, but for real, I want to actually lose weight in 2012 as well (although I feel pretty good about my ability to maintain a specific weight, so that's good news).
So as of June, I am recommitting to the SP way of life. Work hard, eat well, and watch the pounds come off. I know it's not quite that magical, but in the end if I keep doing that things will happen!
