Fitness Is Religion by Ray Kybartas - my husband SWEARS by this guys book and he's he fittest person I know. I don't like the second half because some of the carb/fat/protein percentages just don't work when you're this overweight (going by his formulas) but the ideas are there and its a great book to reinforce all the things you already know or should know.

Eating Healthy for Life - don't know who wrote it and it is an older book, but it contains some VERY good eating principles that are based around the major food groups. No gimmicks or fads...just simple food.
