I've been a MIA done girl for quite some time now and I can not lead that life anymore. Last August I got my Appendix removed, now I have to have my gall bladder removed. And just found out I have a fatty liver. How many wake up calls can I dismiss before I lose my life? This is it. I'm done not living life! Here I come girls I'm back --get ready!

I am DONE saying "some day" and am starting to live now. I proved things to myself by going to Europe and feel so empowered now to quit putting things off. After all, I'm 53 so how long do I think I can put things off? While sparking, I am doing what I can and not waiting for me to lose 50 pounds.

My documents *finally* came in for my name change. That means I can apply for my new paramedic licence and get back to work!!!
Memaof10, if I had to wait until 3:30 to eat, I'd probably chew my own arms off! Don't be too hard on yourself for making poor food choices that late in the day.

My whole day has been off. Didn't get to eat breakfast or lunch. We were tied up at the VA hospital all day trying to get my husband set up for appointments. We finally ate around 3:30pm and by then I really didn't make the right choices. Hopefully I'll be back on track tomorrow.

DYKT i am a 30year old female and have never changed a diaper (and not for lack of having babies around!)
DYKT even at 200+ pounds i have always been a really strong and confident person. I've never hated myself because of my weight. if i can't accept myself, how can i expect anyone else to.
DYKT i don't want to be skinny, or even really thin. i want to be HEALTHY but still have a curvy body.
DYKT i love to travel to other countries and learn their culture and customs and FOOD! i can't even fathom being someone who's never left their home country.
DYKT i don't believe in regrets. everything we do just goes into making us the person we're supposed to be. i don't regret gaining weight because losing it is making me a stronger and better person!

*Yesterday I had to order some smaller undies. I was dancing the salsa and finding that I had to hold onto my britches.
*I was in shock because I didn't really think I had trimmed down enough yet for size 6 Jockey Elance french cut undies. But then I was shocked when I got back down to size 7.
*I haven't lost much weight, but my body continues to reshape and trim down. I didn't think it was possible, but this process continues to be true.
*I'm not totally stoked about the smaller undies because I have had to shell out a lot for smaller undies and bras over the past year or two. Still I'd rather be shelling out over smaller clothing items than seeing no progress at all.
*I earned a free bra after so many purchases so I ordered a black sports bra in the smaller size. I just wanted to be daring.
*I'm hoping the smaller undies for workouts is a sign of what is to come. Could it be possible that I'll some day be wearing size 18W and even 16W pants some day soon, ditching all the 22W pants left, even the 20Ws at a charity donation center?
*I'll go back to the treadmill again today, even though the mini gym seems to be a bit musty and moldy still. I'm allergic, but that brings my weight down to do that now.
*I pushed myself through strength training, the whole thing, for the first time in over a week. My shoulder hurt so I only did that with CardioSalsa to follow. Today I really should so some Crunch Pilates later in the day.
*Sometimes I just feel like dancing.

I created a graphic for the DONE team last year that was a girl standing on a scale dropping pieces of clothing everywhere and it said 'DONE with waiting to Live' and I've seen it around spark on a few girls' sparkpages!?!?
It makes me giggle everytime cause I have no idea where they are finding it?!?
I'm working the hardest I ever have before, to make sure not to gain 10 lbs on this period??
I gained 4 yesterday and lost 1.8 today!

~I'm wearing a 12 (comfortably!) for the second day in a row? ~My zumba instructor commented on my weight loss, saying my zumba pants were fitting a lot looser these days ~Something has simply finally *clicked* and this really HAS become a way of life. I'm not even obsessed with the scale anymore. A lb increase? I know it isn't "real" based on my good choices. In the old days I would have sweat that something fierce.
DYKT ~Its 12:30 here? ~My mom is picking me up at 4, so we can head to the hospital? ~I am very nervous about my surgery, and really wish I could have my Zoloft? ~Or at least some stinking chocolate?? ~I know my surgery will be okay, cuz my dad will be with me the whole time? ~My died 11 years ago, this Friday? ~I know he will protect me? ~I will miss all of you untilI get back in a few days? ~I love being DONE!!!!

Trick or Treat Challenge for "DONE BEING THE FAT GIRL" TEAM:
~unlike most women-who gain during TOM-I don't. My loss simply STOPS about a week & a half before TOM arrives, and does not start up again until TOM leaves. So I am patiently, or not so patiently, waiting for the darn thing to start so I can weigh in again and see results! It's been too long!!! And I start to feel very, very anxious.
Oh! And I'm wearing a size 12 pant today. Most of my clothes are 14s. Woo Hoo!

...my job makes me cry at least once a day? I'm so DONE with this job...unfortunately my family is not done with the paycheck and insurance benefits.
...the only part of my day that I actually like is the part where I get to sweat it out in the gym and then go home to my boys all triumphant and tired?
...my husband has been uber supportive about my workout schedule even though it keeps me out of the house a lot? I just wish he'd take some initiative on the household chores...*sigh*

DYKT I miss work out vhs tapes? They were so quick and convenient. Just pop them in and start the workout. Now with DVDs, you have to wait through ads, and navigate through intros and menus. I lose motivation to work out that quickly!

I hate dating? I hate dating more than I hate the elliptical? and I haven't been on an elliptical since November? I hate that my period is going to add 8-10 lbs to my weight overnight? *I swam for more than 4 hours on Saturday at a beach in Delaware. There were few rip tides, and I got quite a workout. I didn't lose weight, but I lost 2 inches off my waist.
*I felt so free swimming in the ocean, just able to swim back and forth in safe ocean water. I must admit it looked a bit murky, but it was refreshingly cool.
*I just received a new salsa dancing workout from Netflix and I'm learning new dance steps.
*I am taking steps forward in my writing, and it feels great.

I can't believe that I didn't know this Team existed?? Especially since: A - I am SO DONE being the fat girl B - Wonder Woman is my favorite...love the picture!
I can't believe that Yoovie weighs only 10 pounds or so less than me. An obvious side effect of exercise (of which I don't do) because I would've thought 30 pounds less than me, easily.
I am starting to exercise today. Because, holy crap! How can I not now???
I saw a few pictures from my stepdaughter's wedding last weekend. And I want to cry and I know it's shallow and it was her wedding, so who gives a #$%! what I look like. But OMG...big white whale in a pretty black dress.
It's all going to be okay. I'm done being the fat girl. First, in my head. Second, on the outside.

I am giving up soda and other carbonated drinks because i think that they are contributing to my plateau?
I was hoping to lose another 3 to 4 pounds before this wedding the first week of August, but now I don't know if it is going to happen?

DYKT: ~I walked on Friday & Saturday. Wore my heart rate monitor and stayed in target! ~I played my mandolin for about 3 hours on Sunday... had a great time @ the Anniversary party! ~I ate some Indian bread. ~Just one piece. ~Oh but it was good! ~I took the time this weekend to read a book and take a bubble bath. ~ It was so relaxing! You know it!

I like the recumbnent bike better then the regular stationary bike. Gives me less of a wedgie if you know what I mean.

FREDDIE05299: Congrats on that. I'm sure that must feel good. I hear that people who have bypass end up with a lot of baggy saggy skin issues. Plus most of them never fix the underlying problem so that weight could come back.

DYKT ~I went for pre-op this morning? ~The anethesia nurse was going over my stuff, and was impressed by my weight loss? ~She had to verify my ID, and she said it didnt look like me? ~It made me happy? ~She asked if I had taken anything? ~She used to work at a gastric bypass place, so she had seen big losses? ~She thinks mine is better since I did it all by myself? ~I really hope that my weight loss wont be TOO derailed by my complete inactivity in the coming weeks?
