I would love to have a hiking buddy. What do I need to do? What I have been doing is using my treadmill and pedometer to do my walking I try to do 5000 steps a day. I go on the internet and choose a trail that has that amount of miles to it. I am also signed up for the Womans Challange and I go through different states, I can give you the web site if you are interested.

I'm walking the Mountains to Sea Trail in NC. If you wanted to jump up to a 14 mile segment, I'm about to start segment 2 of the trail. It's just over 14 miles long. It would be fun to hike with a buddy.
I've got a thread going in this team page about my walk. Just finished the 27 mile Section 1. The mountains of NC are beautiful to walk in.

Sorry its been awhile since Ive log on I chose my ten mile trail and have already have finished it. I did the Peewah Trail 10 miles that is in Missouri. I will let you know when I have choosen my 12 mile trail.
