what I did was pick a place I wanted to walk to and then found out how many miles it was, brought a pedometer and started walking. The pedometer counts your miles(if you get one that counts miles, some only count steps and you have to convert) I would write down at the end of each day how far I had walked in a notebook and then subtract that from how many miles I had to walk. Then about twice a month I post how far I have walked. You can post daily, too.
