Hey guys, new member here! I had a quick question regarding collard greens. I'm growing a ridiculous amount of them in my garden for some reason and it's almost time to harvest them, but I've run into a problem: I don't know how to cook with them! anybody got an awesome collard greens recipe they want to share with a newbie? (preferably meat-free, as I'm a vegetarian)

Here is a great whole grain pancake recipe
For the mix. I triple it and keep it on hand.
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp each of wheat germ, brown sugar, I add ground flax seed for a little nutter taist
1 1/2cup whole wheat flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp sea salt

making the pancakes I triple for a family of 4. If any left over I keep pancakes in the fridge and put in toaster for a quik breakfast. very filling
1 egg
1 tbsp veg oil
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup pancake mix
Mix well and let stand 5 min
spoon in hot oil pan and flip when bubles on top pop and leave holes . Great with pure maple syrup or honey or fried apples.

Fried apples I just slice up apples and fry them in butter (real butter)and cinnomon. No sugar. Great to add dried cranberries.

I personally like to adapt your average normal recipes into vegetarian. Simple things to start like the boca chick'n nuggets- toss them on salad or eat with "fries" or something like that.

I made chili with Ground Meatless Beef style, Make chicken florentine with Boca Chick'n patties and florentine mix on top (spinache, yougurt, milk, cheese) (obviously not for vegans).... Anyways thats all I can think of for now. I do have a killer recipe for Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and a few other things if you search me in the sparkrecipes you'll find them. Happy eating!

Its not just about weight, its about setting goals!

Hey everyone. After reading the into board it seem like a lot of people are either hitting a rut or interested in branching into vegetarianism. Lets all post a healthy recipe or two to keep everyone going.
