I'd have to say cabbage although I do enjoy broccoli and cauliflower. And I love most cooked greens like mustard, turnip, mixed, and collards.

Mmm, that sounds good (the home-made, not the canned, which is most definitely awful.)

I am aware a) that it is not a vegetable, and b) of the current cantaloupe-borne illness scare, but, DANG, the (organic, salmonella-free) cantaloupe I had today was awesome.

I got some funny kind of white-with-red-stripes beets in my organic box, even though I chose beets as something to NEVER receive. I do not have a good track record with beets, but I decided that if I buried them in a vegetable Korma (delicious, creamy, mildly-spiced Indian dish), they wouldn't taste so much like beets.

And they weren't awful! Maybe I even ---LIKED--- them!

Really loving the tomatoes right now, too, and they are probably at the top of my all-time favorites list.

With it being spring time, I would have to say that fresh grown and picked OKRA is one og my favorites. The one good thing about okra plants is that when you plant just one or two is that they will grow like "wild fire". They are plentiful. Yum Yum !!

Right now I am on a Spinach kick. I have to have leaf spinach or chopped spinich with everything. I put it on vegan cheese pizza, omlets and even in my smoothies.

Seems like I cant get enough of the green stuff.

We're do you live, that you could grow sweet potatoes or yams? I love comity top which is the green leaves from those, but we are too cold in this part of Canada to get any amount of tubers by fall. I have never met a veggie that I do not like! Sure is great to be back with you foks. I used to be Jonibee but had to change my name to rejoin after my computer crashed so I choose the present namem because I have now had a titanium hip and can now dance again after many years of terrible pain. emoticon

Brussel sprouts and okra!

Give up everything you love, and everything that tastes good = weight loss! Simple as that!
