LOL...I'm sorry. I only read the last post because I was in a rush. Keenie Boy... emoticon ! I'm struggling with losing, but I know it's all my fault! We have been having bday gatherings here at work and I have not been doing well. I'm trying really hard to stay focused, but it can be a real struggle at times!

Thanks for the shot out!!! I wish that I did loose 8 pounds. That was kennie boy I'm to scared to even get back on the scale after i gained 2 pounds. I'm still working out but starting over is soo hard. When I loose it this time I'm going to try hard not to gain it back.

It's Hump Day!!!

I hope everyone is feeling good and ready for a very productive day! I'm very sore from my workout with my personal trainer, but as they say...'no pain, no gain'....I'm just ready for the end results.

That's okay Sexytee! It happens but at least you got a reality check in quick and jumped right back on the wagon! Look at it as your reward for doing so good! I'm down 1 lb this week so I have 9 more lbs to go!

Sorry to report that I let Father's Day (weekend) totally mess me up! I'm back on track today. I didn't workout or eat right over the weekend. The only thing I did good was getting in my water. I'm going to the gym today after work, and I'm already focused on eating better today.

Good morning everyone - well today is really my day one. This weekend was awful, it was my birthday weekend and I partied hard with friends, but now that its over its back to business. I got up this morning and went to the gym - did 35 min on the ARC Trainer and just logged my breakfast. I hope everyone starts their week off right :-)

I didn't get to exercise last night!! I did get some much needed rest! So tonight I'm back at it!! I can't wait to see how many pounds everyone went down the first week of this challenge! Don't forget to post on Monday how much you've lost!

A lot has been going on this week, but I am making it my mission to get myself going, so I can meet my goal. I am so tired of this up and down - I really need to take care of me. Tomorrow I am starting my birthday off right - going to the gym, coming back to take a shower, eat a healthy breakfast and just relax and enjoy the day. My goal tomorrow is NO STRESS!!

Did 30 min on the treadmill with a combo walk run program. Then went to cycle for 30 min! Yesterday. On Monday I did a double backer cardio in the morning and body pump in the evening. Today Wednesday I am chilling. I will do the exercise challenge.......

I hope we all didn't have a hard time making it through day one!! I did feel a little hungry yesterday but I don't know if it was just all in my head or if I really was hungry..LOL! I managed to stay within all of my ranges, so yesterday was a good day for me!

Hey all it's me Hardknox and yes teaching has paid the price for me this past year. Now I have to get back on track a lot of things I need to attend by Aug. so I am all in 10 here we go!!! I went this morning and did cardio now this evening weight not to mention that I don't eat anything I don't need.

I wanted to let everyone know that I did post the exercise challenge also. So don't forget to start that Monday!! It's under the exercise challenge threads! I look forward to seeing you all on the boards! Even though the challenge doesn't officially start until Monday, I must say I did a fabulous job yesterday! I din't feel deprived and I didn't cave in, thank God! I'm trying to keep myself full of water along with each meal so that I don't feel like I"m starving. I haven't eaten healthy in a while and boy is it hard in the beginning. If you keep at it, your body will definately adjust in due time!

Hey everyone - I am sad to say I am another leader on this board who has been away for a long while and gained. I am too embarrassed to post my weight gain, but I am all in for the Independence Challenge to lose 10 lbs. In fact, I am focusing on only 10 lbs at a time and the goal is to lose 10 lbs a month. Together we can do this and we will do this .... Looking forward to everyone's participation.

In addition to our overall goal to lose 10 lbs, we will also be posting weekly challenges to help us get to our goal, for example, one week we may focus on doing an additional cardio activity for 10 minutes above what your normal cardio time is, but it has to be something different, so if you are always on the treadmill then spend 10 minutes jump roping, or if you are always on the elliptical after your workout spend 10 minutes on the treadmill speed walking. The challenges will either be exercise or nutrition related challenges (possibly both at the same time) to help us to our goal of losing 10 lbs by July 4.

Also, please make note that the official challenge will start Monday - we want to give people an opportunity to check their inbox and see that the challenge is happening and have time to join. So please invite your friends and family to participate in the challenge and get ready to shed those unwanted pounds!!

Hello team! I know as your team leader, I have been off the wagon for a while. I have gained because of it and now I'm back and ready to start all over. What better way to get back in the game and do a challenge! Let's lose 10 lbs by the 4th of July! This challenge starts tomorrow! If you don't want to post your weight, you can just post to the thread letting us know you are in on the challenge by posting 10, which starts the count down!
