I too have decided to recommit myself and stop making excuses. Though I was recently diagnosed with Hoshamito's diseases, which is basically hypothyroidism which will never go away. It could definitely explain my inability to lose weight and the 20lb weight gain I have seen over the last year. It is easily controlled with medication, which I will have to take forever but once the correct dosage is found I should be fine besides yearly check ups. I have tracked yesterday and today and worked out yesterday and have planned my workouts for the rest of the week. We did this once we can do it again.
I joined Weight Watchers last fall and did well until March. Then, between vacations and my Father-in-Law being sick and dying, plus my father not doing well, I wasn't able to really track and I gained and lost the same 2-3 pounds all summer. I must say that I probably would have gained it all back if I hadn't had WW. Last week I lost weight again for the first time since March and I plan to continue the progress. DH has said that he will join with me next week, so it will help to have someone at home eating the same as I do.
Good luck to you, Trra. Hope you can do it.

Hi guys! I am trying to make a come back. I hope you have all been well. I have missed my cubs friends! am finally going to do this right. No starving or drastic calorie cutting for me. It works for awhile, but then it ends. I started a plan of actual eating yesterday and I felt good all day. I have had the working out thing down for awhile now. So, hoping getting my eating right gives me the results I desire. Just stopping by to ask for support and offer support. Hope you are all well. I loved being a part of this team a few years ago. Hoping to get involved again.
