Judith, just had an Orincia infusion, but it isn't taking care of the stiffness and pain in my hands. I have discovered though that getting in the pool at the gym helps alittle bit. Keep in touch. Jeanne
So very sorry to hear this Judith :( You are really missed here :( I hope you are getting treatments for your hands and that you have splints to help support them and ease the pain (made a huge difference for me) Make sure you Dr. is on top of meds for you to get it under control..

So sorry Judith, to hear that your hands have gotten so much worse. My hands are about the worst part of my RA. I go to see my new Rheumatologist this coming Wed., so I'm excited to see if he can do anything more for me. Take care and I hope that when we hear from you again that that will mean that you're feeling so much better! I'm going to check up on some warming gloves that I'm hoping to help me, once I get them ordered!

Hey Judith! It's good to hear from you! I completely understand "the hand thing." Last week I was literally crying with hand-wrist-finger pain. I had my Remicade IV infusion on Tuesday and, much to my surprise, the pain is now gone! It takes me about 3 days to recover from the Remicade - major fatigue and flu-like symptoms - but I finally feel better. This is the first time since I started Remicade (January) that I've noticed an improvement in my RA! Maybe I'm on the road to feeling a little better.
I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Pain, pain go away and NEVER come another day!!

Hi Judith. I too have the same problem and haven't been sparking much. I went to RA Dr. WED. and she gave me a shot to help with the pain but if anything it's only worse. I like Jeanne is in my Rhand and I'm R handed. We're thinking of you. Take Care. Lisa I sent you a spark mail.
If it is to be, it is up to me.
So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we have the key.
I have the same problem so i only do as much as I can on sparkpeople. My right hand has become quite deformed from the RA. I hate to even look at that hand. I am going to go to my hand specialist and see if he cando anything to make it more functional. It's my rt hand and I'm rt handed. Hang in there, thinking of you. Jeanne
