No, you did not jump ship. To me the complication of creating a healthy eating style is that food is so much more than just sustenance. Eating with others is a social/emotional experience. Imagine centuries ago when we didn't know if we would have enough food for the next day or the next season. Yet, through trust, friendship and kinship, we shared what we had. Think of the emotional impact that give to eating together. Also, my personal encouragement to myself: Not perfection, but progress.

I am really trying hard to take weight off to help all the way around. But yesterday was our 32 wedding anniversary. My son came and him and i had fast food breakfast.and ice cream. Than my two daughters came and we had a bbq, and ice cream. Now my husband wants to take me sunday out for dinner. wow I really hope I have not blown it. They did this with me in a wheelchair so I can't even walk it off.But I have to admit it was nice. Most times in my house all day everyday not seeing anyone working on quilts. I would like to help people not be a downer.Just wondering if I jumped ship or not.
